Olivia
I held my breath for a second and looked into the eyes of this stranger who had just introduced himself as Andrew. Tagging along with him to the hotel? Someone I barely knew?
"You can trust me, Olivia, I just want to help you."
His words softened me instantly, because It was the first time since my parents died that I was kindly spoken to, and from a total stranger, unlike my own blood sister who at best spelt it to my face that I was useless.
I gave it a thought for a while, and I knew he was a Godsend. How could I even say no when I had nowhere to sleep tonight. "It's fine, Andrew."
I fondled the money for a while before I tucked it inside my small handbag that was on the table
"Let me help you with that," He quickly grabbed the bag from the table and secured it under his arm. I felt my being come alive with this little gesture. I couldn't help but gasp when his warm palm pressed against mine as he supported me to my feet.
"Thank you," I said in a voice barely above whispers.
"You will give me a minute." He loosened his hold from my palm and hurried toward his friends. I watched them exchange talks and then his friends disappeared into the pool of dancers.
"Do you mind if we get something to eat from any nearby restaurant, or we could bank on the hotel we are going to?" He asked as we were near the exit of the club house. There was something about him I couldn't discern yet, but the fact that he considered me worthy to ask for my preference was exciting.
"Let's bank on the hotel. My head hurts and I feel the need to retire to bed soon." My voice was strained.
As we reached the parking lot I made a mental note that the black Porsche parked an inch away could be his car, but that idea was quickly discarded when he said, "I already booked a cab for us…...It will be here in a few minutes."
Booked a cab? Was he not rich enough to own one? Questions were playing in my mind. Soon, a black Benz pulled in front of us and Andrew didn't hesitate to open the door for me. "You deserve to be treated like the queen that you are." His voice was honeyed as he said this.
He and the cab driver exchanged a few words before a suffocating silence lingered. I could feel sexual tension building around us as his shoulder slightly brushed against mine. "So, Olivia.." He finally spoke, taking my hands into his, leaving me a little breathless. "What are your financial plans? Tell me so I can know where to chip in with my support."
I let out a heavy sigh before I started recounting how my parents died in an auto crash, leaving me to Jane; my sister who's my only surviving family. And how Jane treated me like a piece of shit until she finally threw me out of the house this afternoon.
"Oh, I'm sorry about that." He interrupted, his voice heavy with concern.
"So, I am a school dropout and I can only work menial jobs, you know? I have sent an application to….." I stuttered. "to work as a maid in…." I choked on my words at the start of tears.
"Work as a maid? No way! If you're gonna cry then you don't need to talk any more." He said and scooped me into his warm embrace. "We can have the conversation once we are settled in the hotel."
By the time we got to the hotel my face was drenched in tears. I hated how vulnerable my life troubles had made me become. No way would my mother let me out in the night if she were alive.
"You don't look your best when you cry," Andrew was tracing the tear track on my face and his other hand rested on my chest, nearly touching my breast."
"I…."
"Hush." He put my handbag right before the bed and pulled me closer. Quite slowly, he planted a kiss on my lips, sending waves of sparks down my body. I couldn't bring myself to resist him even though it felt strange. "I desire you…right from the moment I set my eyes on you." He added.
His warmth breath poured on my face as he continued murmuring words. He looked at me with eyes filled with burning desire, but there was something about those eyes that hinted that he could be a playboy perhaps.
"Stop," I managed to say when his hand slid under my gown. "I haven't slept with any man before."
"You are a virgin?" His voice rushed, desperate.
"I am."
"I will be gentle I promise." and with that he swept me off my feet, leaving me gasping for air. I felt my toes coiling as he placed me gently on the bed. He peeled off my clothes and started tracing every part of my body like the claws of a predator scratching its prey. "You have such a nice body, Olivia" His voice was husky now, a little low. I watched him pull down his pants slightly below the thigh, his hard-on bulging, and I quickly shut my eyes, unsure of what to expect.
He parted my legs, and when he pushed inside me a mild pain coursed through my body and I let out a cry. "Andrew…"
"Yeah, it hurts at first but the pain vanishes just as quickly." He raked his hand through my hair. My legs were suspended in the air as his thrusts became a little rapid and steady. "You like it, yeah?"
I wasn't sure how many minutes passed until he was shuddering. He clasped his hands tightly around my waist and emptied himself inside me.
"Relax," He held onto me when I made an attempt to get up after he rolled off me. "A little cuddling after sex won't hurt."
I smiled and relaxed into his muscled arm, feeling the dampness on his skin. A calming silence stretched between us except for our breathing that evened out. Soon, I felt my eyes straining, and all my efforts to keep my eyelids open were defeated by crushing sleep.

The Next Morning.
I was half asleep when I heard my mobile phone chim, indicating a message. With my eyes shut, I rolled over and blindly stretched my hand toward the bedside drawer to get my phone. Yawning, I lazily fluttered my eyes open, but was instantly struck by the empty bed.
"Andrew!" I flung my phone to the other side of the bed and jumped up furiously. I scampered toward the bathroom and pushed the door opened. My heart sank and shattered at the emptiness that stared back at me. Andrew's gone! I wanted to yell his name, but to what point? I rushed back to the room to retrieve my bag, but it was nowhere to be found. Shit! I cursed and pushed the covers aside to see if my bag was somewhere under the bed covers. Hot tears started rolling down my eyes, burning my cheeks. "How could he?" I said amidst faint sobs. I retrieved my mobile phone from the bed, but I couldn't check the message yet because my eyes were glassy from tears.
I ran my hand within my thigh, feeling how fragile the skin around that area felt due to the sex I had with Andrew, and for once I realized that I had lost everything. My virginity! Gosh! I gave my virginity to a person who didn't deserve it in any way.
I pressed my phone to my chest and started to sob faintly. Homelessness. Joblessness. "Andrew," I said lastly, feeling so enraged at the mention of his name. "You are safe in this world if only I never set my eyes on you again."
I wiped my hand over my eyes and finally tapped the message icon on my phone screen. Filled on my phone screen was a message that read; [INVITATION TO PRIVATE INTERVIEW AT CHASE'S RESIDENCE.]
