Well, it seemed that this task must be accepted. Without these 5 points of favorability, Ryo feared that Mikasa and he would remain at odds in the future!
Ryo casually looked at the favorability of others and noticed that, aside from Mikasa, whose favorability towards him dropped significantly, the others had all dropped by varying degrees, but the drop was only around 10-15 points. Mikasa alone had a sharp drop of 35 points. Was she really that sensitive?
"Hey, do you accept it or not? If you keep hesitating, we can just do it!" Ymir's voice snapped Ryo out of his thoughts.
"Ah? Oh! I accept!" Ryo responded, shaking off the distraction.
Wasn't it just a group of people attacking him? What was the big deal?
They were still too naïve. Did they really think they could beat him just because they outnumbered him?
Ryo regained his confident smile. He didn't know why Mikasa's favorability had dropped so much more than everyone else's, but regardless, any recovery was good. Besides, a task had been triggered with 20 experience points as a reward! These experience points were far more valuable than the ones he earned from regular training.
If he trained for an entire day, he'd only gain a few points. This task, on the other hand, was equivalent to ten days' worth of effort! It seemed that he needed to take on more tasks in the future!
"Oh? You're really straightforward. Okay, sisters, are you ready?"
"Ready!"
"Let's go ahead and teach this guy a lesson, so he knows that none of us can be easily messed with!" Ymir grinned and rushed towards Ryo.
Ryo smiled lightly, moving aside to avoid her powerful attack.
"Well, not bad. But the speed is a little slow. If it were faster, I might not have been able to dodge it!"
After dodging Ymir's attack, Ryo didn't forget to tease her. Despite her unappealing look with freckles and an ordinary figure, she could still be fun to provoke.
"Hmph, it's not over yet!" Ymir snorted, crouching down to launch a sweeping kick. Ryo had predicted this move, a standard one taught in combat training.
The kick was powerful; if it connected with the leg, it could easily destabilize the opponent. With so many people surrounding him, falling would be disastrous!
Ryo grinned, jumped lightly, and evaded the sweeping kick without breaking a sweat.
"Still too slow! Ymir-san!" Ryo mockingly yawned, making it clear that her attack posed no trouble to him.
"Hmph, don't get too proud. Annie, Mikasa, it's your turn!" Ymir's sneer widened as she gestured to her teammates.
Annie and Mikasa, one on the left and one on the right, charged towards Ryo at the same time.
Ryo's heart skipped a beat. He had been careless. Normally, he could dodge individual attacks easily, but with Mikasa and Annie working together, his movements in the air were much less fluid. If they caught him midair, it'd be difficult to evade.
"Now you know how powerful we are, right? If you dare spy on us again, you'll pay the price!" Ymir stood from the ground, grinning, eager to see how Ryo would escape this combined attack.
But much to her surprise, Ryo remained completely calm. There was no panic in his expression. Was he giving up?
Ryo grinned, quickly stepping on the air and leaping higher, soaring above the reach of Mikasa and Annie.
They were too late to adjust their positions mid-attack. Ryo had already risen out of their strike range and found a nearby training rack to land on.
With a quick burst of speed, Ryo knocked down several of the girls around him, taking them out of the fight before they could react. The entire process, from Ymir's attack to Ryo's counter, lasted less than two seconds.
Mikasa, ever quick, managed to adjust her body and pursued Ryo without hesitation.
Ryo's expression hardened. He knew Mikasa was a formidable opponent, but this was his opportunity. While Annie was still trying to catch up, Ryo launched a series of rapid attacks against Mikasa. If he could take her down first, it would give him a clear advantage!
