Now that the problem was found, the rest was easy!
The Garrison Regiment immediately brought in a large amount of manpower and resources to repair the **Military Police Bridge Water Gate**!
Today, a twelve-meter-class Titan had slipped in. If this part wasn't blocked quickly, then tomorrow, several or even dozens of Titans might slip in. Once they completely broke through the water gate, it would pose a huge threat to the residents inside the Rose Wall!
If the protection of Rose Wall was lost, humanity would have only the Sina Wall left, and their hope of defeating the Titans would vanish completely!
The Garrison Regiment wasted no time and repaired the water gate promptly. Furthermore, they conducted thorough inspections of water gates across other areas, eliminating potential vulnerabilities to prevent a similar incident elsewhere.

At the Military Police Headquarters
"Keith, are the reports you made true?"
At the **Military Police Regiment** headquarters, the officer in charge of the Training Corps casually flipped through the report submitted by Instructor Keith and then asked him indifferently.
"It's absolutely true. Hundreds of students on the scene witnessed everything," Keith replied with a respectful stance, his back straight. Years of discipline had ingrained in him a formal demeanor, especially when addressing superiors.
The hierarchy within the Military Police Regiment was rigid, demanding absolute obedience from subordinates.
"Hmm, if that's the case, do you think he's the right person?"
The officer turned to the last page of the report, glancing at the name that stood out—Ryo Carter.
"Yes, I firmly believe he's a very suitable candidate!" Keith replied with conviction, his tone resolute.
"Good. Let's advance his training course and arrange special, targeted training. It's been a long time since the Training Corps produced someone this promising."
"Yes, sir. I understand!" Keith responded sharply, standing at attention.

Back at the Training Grounds
"Ah, open your mouth!"
Ryo Carter carefully scooped a spoonful of soup, blew on it to cool it, and held it up to Krista's lips.
"My leg is injured, not my hands! I can manage this myself!" Krista's cheeks turned crimson as Ryo openly fed her in front of everyone. She felt embarrassed and flustered, worried others might notice.
"It's fine. I've got nothing else to do, so why not pamper you a bit?" Ryo said nonchalantly, his tone playful and affectionate.
"Sasha, let's eat somewhere else. These two are drowning us in so much romance, it's unbearable!" Connie rolled his eyes at Ryo and Krista, picking up his plate as he prepared to leave.
Sasha nodded in agreement. "They're worse than Titans, feeding us emotional overload without a second thought!"
"Go on, shoo! The farther, the better!" Ryo waved dismissively, grinning as the two walked away.
After they left, Ryo noticed Mikasa and Eren approaching. He waved to them. "Hey, Mikasa! Eren! Come sit over here!"
The two exchanged confused glances. Why was Ryo suddenly calling them over after driving away Sasha and Connie?
"What's up, Ryo? Need something?" Eren asked directly, his straightforward nature showing.
"Not really. I just thought we should sit together. You know, couples hanging out with other couples!" Ryo smiled, then added teasingly, "Krista and I are a couple. France and Hannah are a couple. You two are a couple, right? So it's only natural!"
Eren's face flushed, and Mikasa looked slightly embarrassed.
"Ryo, Mikasa and I aren't… like that!" Eren blurted out, stumbling over his words in an attempt to explain.
Ryo raised an eyebrow, clearly amused. "Oh? Really? In that case, you wouldn't mind if someone else pursued Mikasa, right?"
Eren froze, caught completely off guard by the question.
"I… uh…" Eren struggled to respond. He couldn't say he didn't care—because he clearly did. But admitting it felt like crossing a line he wasn't ready for.
"See? That's why you two should just make it official already!" Ryo said, laughing as he continued feeding Krista.
Mikasa remained silent but glanced at Eren. Her feelings were clear, but she wasn't going to pressure him.
Eren, however, felt conflicted. While he cared deeply for Mikasa, his mind was consumed by thoughts of revenge and freedom. He couldn't allow his emotions to distract him from his goal of exterminating the Titans and avenging his mother.
