THE DOOM OF LACAORSTE

Aliens, more ancient than the existence of Earth itself, hailed from a parallel universe older than time as we know it. Their enigmatic presence once brushed against this reality, leaving traces of their existence scattered across distant planets far from humanity's home, Earth.

Legends of these beings, whispered in forbidden texts and cryptic ruins, tell of their immense power and the doom they wrought upon those who dared to unearth their secrets.

"I will make this world mine," declared Mark Ferer, his voice brimming with ambition and arrogance as he stood amidst the Lucayn ruins on Planet Raness. "With unyielding power, I will conquer everything before me. No one can stop me!"

Those words—his last—were etched into history, not as a declaration of conquest, but as the epitaph of a man who reached too far. Moments later, the ruins responded with an ancient fury. A deafening explosion obliterated everything, consuming the entire expedition. The death of Crew 99-Blo1 became a grim warning etched into humanity's history: some doors are meant to stay closed.

Vorden sighed, his fingers brushing through his messy hair as he slumped over a dimly lit library desk. His eyes scanned the crumbling pages of an old history book, its text glowing faintly under the flickering light of a nearby holo-lamp.

"That's a fun story," he muttered to himself, "but it makes me wonder why I'm even reading these outdated history records. What's the point of digging through ancient tragedies when I could've picked something easier for my assignment?"

His words trailed off into a groan as he buried his face in his hands. The weight of regret pressed down on him like the piles of dusty books stacked around his cramped desk. Why didn't I listen to the professor? he berated himself silently.

"I warned you," the professor's voice echoed in his mind. 'Choose an easier topic, Vorden. The Doom of the Lacaorste is nothing but myths and fragments. It's nearly impossible to put together.'

But no, Vorden had to go for the most obscure, most ridiculous choice in the archive. He had wanted to stand out. He had wanted to impress.

And now here he was—tired, frustrated, and hopelessly lost.

He stared at the ancient, faded illustration of the Lucayn ruins. It was a haunting image, depicting jagged stone spires jutting out of an arid, alien landscape. Despite the simplicity of the sketch, it felt alive, as though something unspeakable pulsed within the ruins, watching, waiting.

"Just a myth," he whispered to himself, though the faint shiver running down his spine said otherwise.

Or is it?

Vorden was a typical teenager,to him if he was a character in a novel he'd be one of the filler character not an mc,a villain nor a weakling just a person.

Even when the meteorite that spelt a doom to civilization as humanity saw it struck earth he still thought he was just a mid character to him life was an obligation he didn't really like it nor hate it at some point in life he really thought that he was just an npc in some games he'd heard off.

It appeared completely out of no where and headed into the Earth's atmosphere..atleast thats what niel robertson said.he was the one who saw it and told the others while monitoring a faraway dwarf star.It landed in the atreli region destroying the large nuclear reactor that provided most of Earth's energy supply.Panic rose all around the world when there was a sudden blackout all over the world not knowing what had happened.it was only after 5 days when the government managed
