Kent felt a sense of happiness that came so suddenly. He had not expected Chi Yuanzi, the Kylin, to be so reasonable. If things truly went this smoothly, it would be a huge favor for Kent.
In fact, even if Chi Yuanzi had only promised to give Kent half of the mine and forced him to help, Kent would have had no means or desire to resist.
"Since you are being so considerate, I can hardly refuse," Kent said, putting on a thick face. "Actually, I can make a special potion that quickly restores the body. Although it has some side effects, it can drastically shorten the time needed for the evolutionary ritual. If Chi Yuanzi can move half of the Red Fire Mine out of the Secret Realm within a month, I will do my best to complete the evolution of your two sons within a month. How does that sound?"
"A month?" Chi Yuanzi was taken aback. "Alright, let's do it this way. I'll move half of the Red Fire Mine out in the next half month, and after that, you will complete the evolution of the eldest son. Then, I will move the other half, and you'll finish the evolution of the second son within a month."
It seemed Chi Yuanzi was eager to make this agreement, almost afraid Kent would back out.
The reason Chi Yuanzi didn't forcibly imprison Kent was that it didn't know much about the humans of Earthstar, and it had seen powerful humans from another world. After sleeping for over three thousand years, it didn't even realize that the Mowling Secret Realm had connected to Earthstar.
The Red Fire Mine itself didn't hold much value to it. It was just a mine formed by the natural force fields around Chi Yuanzi's body. The mine only contained precious high-level Red Fire Ore, while the mid and low-level ores didn't interest Chi Yuanzi. Since it was about to leave this place and couldn't take the entire mine with it, a trade seemed like a good option.
Kent naturally agreed to the terms. He paused and then cautiously asked, "May I ask what your title is, Chi Yuanzi?"
Chi Yuanzi responded, "I am Chi Yuanzi. My eldest son is named Chi Ri, the second is Chi Yue, and the third is Chi Xing." It was only natural to reveal his name given the transaction they had made.
Kent nodded. "Chi Yuanzi, then my three companions and I shall be leaving the Secret Realm. I will return in half a month as promised."
Chi Yuanzi thought for a moment before saying, "Wait, I will accompany you."
Kent immediately became puzzled. Did Chi Yuanzi want to visit Earthstar? That would cause a lot of trouble due to its immense power and size. However, Kent didn't have the courage to dissuade the Kylin. He merely said, "Chi Yuanzi, you might not be aware of the situation outside this Secret Realm, or perhaps you don't understand the situation outside it."
Chi Yuanzi looked at him, slightly narrowing its eyes. "Speak plainly."
Kent continued, "Alright, I'll speak frankly. Outside this Secret Realm is a human planet. Humans here have developed energy-based technology, and our physical bodies are weak. However, several decades ago, this planet, Earthstar, experienced a transformation. Numerous alternate dimensions appeared, and this Secret Realm is one of them."
"We humans can freely enter and exit these realms through cloud passages, but the life forms in the realms are suppressed when they enter Earthstar, especially the stronger beings. The stronger they are, the more they are affected by this suppression. Therefore, I worry that Chi Yuanzi might face the same issue."
Kent spoke sincerely, but Chi Yuanzi only laughed heartily. "No problem, I know about this rule. However, I am not a native of this Secret Realm."
"I can also tell you a secret. Only worlds with complete natural laws have the power to suppress foreign entities. This means Earthstar is a world with a complete natural law system. But I have a secret method that can counter most of that suppression with minimal cost."
Kent smiled. "Since you say so, Chi Yuanzi, you are most welcome to visit Earthstar."
Chi Yuanzi nodded, its brows raising. "I had planned to leave this Secret Realm soon and travel through the great world with my three children. This would help them grow faster. But since you mention that Earthstar connects to so many alternate dimensions, that sounds fantastic. Traveling through the stars can be quite tiring, but if this place allows easy access to other dimensions, it would be very convenient."
Kent enthusiastically replied, "I hope Chi Yuanzi stays here and becomes a friendly neighbor to us humans. As for Earthstar's environment, we will need to explore it to find out if it's suitable for you."
Kent added, "However, I must warn you that some of the larger alternate worlds have beings more powerful than you, even Gods. I urge you to be cautious."
"Gods? No, little one, you're mistaken. We call those beings 'Divine Lords.'"
Chi Yuanzi became more interested. It thrived on challenges, and the mention of Divine Lords stirred its excitement. It almost couldn't wait to meet them.
"Sorry, since Earthstar's humans are still weak, we haven't interacted much with such powerful beings," Kent said quickly.
Chi Yuanzi didn't mind, instead enveloping itself in a brilliant blaze, obscuring its form. The flame quickly contracted from a massive size into the shape of a woman around 1.8 meters tall. As the flames receded, Kent was left staring at a beautiful woman in a bright red gown. She looked about 26 or 27, with a stunningly delicate appearance and a hint of regal authority. Her figure was slender and graceful, but with exaggerated curves that would captivate anyone's gaze.
Kent stood frozen for a moment. Chi Yuanzi, it seemed, could transform perfectly into a human, and not only that, it was a stunning beauty. Anyone who saw her in a human city would surely turn their heads. She was the kind of woman who would make men envious and women weep with jealousy.
"How do I look?" Chi Yuanzi asked, turning back with a smile that oozed charm.
Kent, still in a daze, replied honestly, "Extremely beautiful."
"Big Brother, Second Brother, Third Brother, stay here and cultivate. I'll go out for a while," Chi Yuanzi said, her lips moving.
The three Kylins nodded eagerly, clearly wanting to follow.
At that moment, the door to the prison where Long Buyu and his companions were held opened, and they walked out, relieved. It seemed Chi Yuanzi had sent them a message to release them.
However, before they could fully process where they were, a fierce wind surrounded them, lifting them off the ground and sending them straight upward, flying toward the exit of the Secret Realm.
Before long, the wind subsided, and they found themselves in complete darkness. A sudden thrust sent them hurtling out into the open sky.
They soon found themselves above Mowling, disoriented, exchanging confused glances, as they tried to understand what had just happened.
