As Aurelian opened the book he felt a small connection form with his soul signature. Then an influx of information. Vel and psyche felt the same sensation.
Aurelian noticed the information was placed in his soul space and began to enter.
On the inside Aurelian saw a new landmark across the once desolate area only containing the soul signature.
It was a tall golden white pillar. The same as the others he saw before in the dungeon.
When his eyes landed on the pillar. The information went straight to his brain.
The Book of Conquerors read, "As a connection between the dungeon is made and strengthened you will be able to skip to any floor already conquered at the stairs leading to the floor beneath."
"Another capability of the connections allows you to make a weak connection between other dungeons you've conquered up to floor 5. While the last floor five capabilities allow the person to receive a small percentage of the kills generated. 0.001% of kills will be taken stacked in the form of strengthening your signature through your connected pillar within the dungeon."
The last line of the one page inside the book says, "As your pillar strengthens so does the dungeon. You must attract attention to your dungeon for higher benefit."
"Written by lineage holder Anger & Aggression, for my benefit in the future."
Aurelian knew the two girls would be taking a minute to take in information so he decided to sit in front of the pillar and process the information.
"I think the best reward as of now isn't the kill rewards but the pillar making the dungeon stronger," Aurelian said speaking his thoughts out loud
'Because if I can catch the attention and attract an exalted or above lineage holder who can get down to floor 25 it will give me more benefits overall'
But being able to jump straight to floor 10 if we ever come back to town will be a significant advantage. Aurelian thought.
"It's time to move past where anyone has ever seen in this dungeon and attract some people." He said as he left his soul space.

"Aurelian your back," Psyche said standing near him who was lying on the ground.
No not the ground, but a soft lap. Vel surprised out of her daydream while petting Aurelian's head looked down in embarrassment.
While Aurelian just smiled and thought, 'Why try to hide your affection from me if you can't control yourself and not let me find out.'
"Thanks for keeping me comfortable Vel," He said as he sat up.
"Mmmm," she responded
"Time to finish the next five floors," Aurelian said walking towards a new door situated behind the podium in the center of the room.

As they stepped off the last stair into the 6th floor they were fretted with yet the same scene of a room that was empty.
Then 5 monsters spawned. This time different, with a new species in the mix.
It was a lizard man, with very human-looking tendencies and some intelligence.
It pointed at the group of humans and yelled.
"Jahhhh," right after the 4 boars around it turned its head and saw the group.
Aurelian immediately after seeing intelligence in the 2 meters tall lizard man's eyes probed the soul with revitalize and yanked it.
The soul was stronger than the normal room boars. However, it still barely gave a fight and came out of the body.
When it fell dead Aurelian brought the soul back and continued his soul snatching.
Taking out 2 boars while Vel took out the other 2. They completed the fight in under 15 seconds.
"Vel, if that thing is a boss on this floor I don't think I can take its soul until it's dead," Aurelian shouted across the room at Vel who was looking at the body of the lizard.
"Its scales are hard but if I target the boss joints where there are none you should be able to spear it." She responded with her analysis.
"I understand, it'll also help if it's alone in the boss room."
The group continued on its way through the different chambers of floor 6 until they reached the boss room.
"Of course just like we thought it's a lizard." This one was 5 meters tall and had claws sharp enough to slice their bodies in two.
But who would fight without a plan?
Aurelian took the lead With Vel on his hip as he ran toward the lizard. He conjured a golden spear and sent it at the shoulder of the lizard.
Then as the spear hit and pierced its weak spot he turned his upper body intangible leaving the lizard's free arm to swipe through his body.
Vel ready for the arm to go across stepped forward two more times before slicing cleanly through the elbow severing it.
She continued forward slicing back downwards towards a knee cutting halfway through.
The lizard roared in pain as it stumbled.
"Raaaaakkk."
Aurelian getting an opening sent a spear into the open mouth of the lizard. Where no scales were allying it to pierce into the brain.
As it fell dead Aurelian finally got the chance to bring its soul into his soul space.
Aurelian feeling it was time to use his last advantage in his current class asked Vel a question, "Vel should I start using one of our friends inside? I feel like we have a risk of getting hit going forward?"
"Yeah, use pack leader for the normal rooms then the lizard we just killed for the bosses."
Being able to bring out one of the former monsters in his soul.
Vel continued speaking, "After seeing how you use the spear I've been thinking about what I could use in tandem with the scythe. I thought about a chain."
"Chain of death huh, if you can perfect it. That would make up for me not being able to use two powers at the same time."
'That's the perfect choice, Vel's lineage really is made for two things. Killing and working with mine.' He thought.
