Loud cheers are heard in a school, on graduation day, inside the school, the year group that has finally completed school is enjoying life to the fullest, Some even made peace with each other, clearing up any past misunderstandings.
A boy seems a little distanced though, more inclined to be in the corner and watch everyone else have fun, he zones out a bit and then gets startled by hands suddenly shaking him on the shoulder from behind "Alex here you are" the owner of the hands beamed, "Clara, no need to be so clingy" Alex responded as he gently prayed off Clara's hand, Clara went on to take a chair and dragged it over to Alex's side "So how you feeling, now that we're done with school and everything" Clara smiled "Ok I guess" Alex shrugged, "Ok? Typical Alex, a man of few words" Clara laughed, they both spent the afternoon taking a trip down memory lane
Finally, the close of the program rolled by and everyone started leaving, Alex walked out the school gates, feeling uplifted now that the burden of school life was not close to him anymore, here and there he could hear people talking about how they wanted to be Carnivore hunters, this just makes Alex shake is head in amusement, just one second out of school and you want to deal with supernaturals, "You guys do remember Carnivores aren't like our usual Canibals, right?" Alex spoke up, "Yeah, but we get cool tools to restrain and kill them, I mean have you seen a Soul Reaper?" One of the other boys responded "So you want to risk your life just for cool gear" Alex laughed as he started to cross the road, only to get bathed in light and a truck's horn blare out, all Alex could do was look at the incoming truck as tires screeched but the speed was too much to stop in time, with a deafening bang Alex is hit, he gets thrown several feet back and he starts losing sense of life, all he feels is pain, his vision slowly fading to darkness, now all he hears is Clara screaming his name
A small spirit with round head and chains making up its limbs flies around, trying as hard as it can to possess anyone it comes across, but it can't, "So this is why they say the most expensive place is the graveyard" it scoffed as it attempted to posses one more live person, but like the others, it's like running into a brick wall, the spirit growled a bit then took off towards a graveyard, but on its way heading there it saw Alex lifeless form "Ohh fresh kill, don't mind if I do" it smirked as I dashed at Alex
Another spirit, this one more in the shape of a kitten is running through the streets, it soon arrives at the accident scene and spots Alex, with a wide smile it dashed at him
One more spirit, this in the form of a blob of slime rolls out of the sewers, chewing on a fish bone, it rolls through the streets aimlessly for a good while and then senses a dying human, it tracks its senses to Alex
All three spirits oblivious to one another's intention to possess Alex, possessed him all at the same time, suddenky having three being enter his body acts like a defibrillator to him and with a gasp Alex opens his eyes as a crowd slowly forms around him "He's alive?" One person showed confusion "Alive? Impossible, the truck hit him hard and fast" a second hissed, only for Alex to unsteadily get up to his feet, the crowd expanded as Alex looked over his body "He's not meant to survive" one spectator whispered, causing the crowd to also break into whispers, meanwhile, Alex could hear three people in him, "You two, what are you doing, eject imideatly" a voice hissed "Eject? Easier said than done mister" a second seemed to scoff "Plus what are you doing in my vessel" it further growled "Your vessel, please, he's obviously mine" the first voice snarled "You two stop and realize we're stuck in this boy" the third spoke up "We somehow revived him" it added "What the hell" Alex sighed "KID HEADS UP" The three voices commanded, Alex lifted up his head in time to see one of his school mates, a one bigger than him, rush him with a fist, reacting he ducked and stepped around him "Carnivore, I don't know what you call yourself now, but this body, Alex is weak, therefore, you too are weak" he smiled then rushed Alex again "Hey" Alex found himself dodging fist upon fist as he was walked into the crowd who eagerly push him back, allowing the boy to recive a nasty upper cut, "Idiot can't you fight?" One voice chastised as Alex was sent off his feet, with a roar his attacker gave him a brutal punch to the stomach, Alex rolled on the floor and stopped at the feet of the cheering audience "Allow me" one voice boomed as Alex got up to his feet but not on his own accord "Wha-" "Sit back and watch" The voice returned then Alex flung at his attacker at superhuman speeds "Payback" his body snarled then leaped in the air dilivering a drop kick that threw the boy into the crowd, knocking all of them down "No no, I don't want this" Alex stated firmly as he regained control "Did he just-" the spirit that had taken control became speechless "It appears he has strong will" the others noted
The sound of sirens became clear as three police cars hit the turn onto the road, fear gripped Alex but he turned and took of down the road "Suspect on the run move move move" a Police told his partner as they passed by the crowd, Clara just looked down the road after them "Alex… don't tell me you've become…"
