Atrox shrugged. "How about it? Let's fight without holding back. All my opponents so far have been pulling one trick or another, but let's go. Power for power."
Alyndra smiled, her shock replaced by a strange joy. "This is something I want. I hope you won't disappoint me."
Atrox didn't say anything. Instead, he held his middle finger against his thumb and smiled before flicking it.
Poow!
A sonic boom of heat and light slammed into Alyndra like a giant's punch, sending her backward. Her figure crashed into a building on the other street, slamming through a metal door and tearing through it, disappearing inside with a clatter.
A moment of silence passed before golden light flashed through and around the building. Seconds later, Alyndra shot out as the structure collapsed, cut into equal squares.
Alyndra's eyes had gained a feverish look. "Are you speaking the truth when you said we can really fight with everything we have?"
