Most things related to his wife, Diana, were nearly impossible to comprehend, save for trivial details like what she would have for breakfast. Her future possibilities, her movements, the actions that would unfold next—he could barely see any of it unless all twelve of his restraints were loosened. After some consideration, a grin spread across his face. He had come to a decision.
"Let me get up real quick. I've decided," Chase said.
Lila blinked, confused. "On what?"
A wide grin stretched across his face as Diana allowed him to sit up. "I've designed primordial concepts and domains for all of you," Chase said simply.
Diana was shocked. "Is that why you weren't responding?"
Chase nodded, his smile never fading. Lila shifted uncomfortably. "What happened to whatever we wanted?"
