Everyone went to the dining room while Shine serves everyone a serving of food. The smell of the food made everyone from the Vole family stomach growled while everyone from Harry's side sat patiently.
"It smells delicious, it have been awhile," said Delila.
"Dig in everyone," said Harry.
Then there was noise of cutlery scrapping against plates and the sound of chewing. Cassandra eyes lit up after tasting the food while Mr and Mrs Vole was staring at the food with shock.
"Do you feel it now?" Ask Delila.
Mr and Mrs Vole look at Harry with amazement and Mr Vole asked, "did you really made this?"
Then Shine appeared next to Mr Vole and said "I saw Mr Potter cast a spell and then the food start cooking itself"
After hearing what Shine said, Mr Vole sighed in defeat and said "just promise me, you will not wrong Cassandra"
Harry just nods his head while eating. After, Harry and the others finish eating they decided to call it a day and went home. Before they left, Harry taught Shine magical cooking with the approval of Delila, and they agreed not to teach another person without Harry's permission. Then with Dumbledore as witness,they swore an oath and if any of them broke the oath, that person will suffer a blood curse by sealing all theirs's and their family magic powers.
After a month past, they celebrated Harry's birthday and then Harry received a letter from Dumbledore. In the letter, Dumbledore ask Harry to retrieve the item from Gringotts. Harry decided to get it done as soon as possible so he asks the Frost Phoenix to bring him to Gringotts.
After being apparated in front of Gringotts with the Phoenix, Harry walks inside and he saw Professor McGonagall helping a muggle family exchange British pounds for Galleons. Harry walks over to McGonagall to greet her and then he recognizes the little girl in the group. The girl spotted Harry gaze and then recognizes him.
"It's you" said the girl and everyone in the group look at Harry.
Harry gave an awkward smile and then walk over "hi Hermione, it's been awhile"
"Awhile? You borrowed a book for 7 months and never return it. I almost lost my library card because of you" said Hermione
"I'm sorry I forgot all about it," said Harry
"For 7 months?" Hermione rub her temples and then sticks out her hand.
Harry shook Hermione hands and then kiss it.
Hermione yanks her hands away and yell "no you idiot, give me back the book"
"But I lost the book," said Harry
Hermione grabs Harry collar and start to shake him "how can you lose it? You owe me money and a new book"
"Ok sorry, I'll pay you back" said Harry while being shooked
McGonagall walkover and said, "do you 2 know each other?"
Hermione stop shaking Harry, giving Harry a chance to talk "yeah, we went on a date to the library"
"It wasn't a date you jerk" said Hermione and she start to strangle Harry "we met at the library, and he borrowed a book under my name"
"I said I'll pay you back," said Harry
"Ok Hermione, you can let him go," said McGonagall.
"Can he be trusted?" Said Hermione.
"Yes, his master is the Headmaster of Hogwarts so he should be reliable" said McGonagall making Hermione let go of Harry.
"Hurry up and pay it back," said Hermione
"I don't have any pounds on me, but I can pay it back with Galleons" Harry hands her a small sack of Galleons "there should be 100 Galleons, we should be even"
"No, you still owe me a book," said Hermione
"Can't you just buy a new one and return it? Ask Harry.
"Did you really think i believe you when you say you lost it? That book must be important, so you trade for another magical book," said Hermione.
Harry rubs her hair "that is my smart Hermione"
Hermione smacks his hands away and glared at Harry. Harry then takes out a book from his pouch and said "I'm not sure if you can use this book but you can give it a try"
McGonagall feel the magic coming from the book and ask " Harry, what kind of book is that?"
Harry looks around then gave McGonagall a look. McGonagall saw Harry signal and set a privacy barrier around them so no one can listen in.
"It's a Grimoire and it's a magical book that will give it's user ability to conjure and control water, but it seems like this Grimoire is very picky with its new master," said Harry.
"Where did you get it from?" Ask McGonagall
"Please don't make it hard for me, Professor McGonagall but if you have any questions, you can ask Professor Dumbledore" said Harry then he looks at Hermione "so you think you can use it?"
Harry then hands the Grimoire
to Hermione. Hermione examined the book and ask, "how do you know if I can use it?"
"Try reading it" Harry then rubs her hair causing Hermione to slap his hands away.
When Hermione open the book, she saw some unfamiliar text and then frowned.
"I never see this text before" said Hermione
"If that the case then I will find you another book" said Harry and he stretch his hands out for the book but was swatted away by Hermione.
"What are you doing? Did you give this book to me?" Questioned Hermione
"Do you still want to keep it even when you can't read it?" Said Harry
"Who said I can't read it, I just never saw this text before" said Hermione, making Harry face become serious.
"Hermione try injecting your magic power into the Grimoire" said Harry
Hermione did what Harry said, but when she injected magical powers into the book, she feels weak, and her face turn pale. Her parents saw her condition and rush to her side. Both McGonagall and Harry saw what happen to Hermione. They saw most of Hermione's magic being sucked up by the Grimoire.
"Your magical power is too weak," said a small voice.
Everyone looks at the water spirit that appeared on the book with shock in their eye. There was a beautiful, 6 inches woman with long hair and her gown is made from water magic. She has fish-like fins in place of ears.
Hermione, who is closest to the water spirit ask "who are you?"
"My name is Undine, and I am a water spirit that is somehow attached to this Grimoire
" said the water spirit.
"Aren't you supposed to make a pact with Hermione since she is the new owner of the book?" Said Harry.
"Yes, but first I have to see her qualifications and base on what I see, she is not worthy to make a pact," said Undine.
