In another tech company across the city, a mature woman with long pink hair and eyes that looks like she hasn't slept for days is sighing, massaging her forehead. the stress is really piling up on her. Indeed, this girl is actually Sakura, an overworked programmer that really loves her sister.
"Haaaah, what do i do...."
Sakura looks down while packing up her belongings, it was just 5 minutes ago that she got fired from her job at this company. A lot of things are going through her mind right now, mostly on what to do next. Since she got fired unceremoniously, there won't be a lot of company willing to take her in as a programmer or a regular employee. As bad as that company's work culture is, the pay is good, more than enough to support her sister and herself.
"Maybe i should contact Kevin or Eden...." Sakura looks down at her phone contacts, seemingly contemplating on using a favor from her friends in the Golden Courtyard. In this world, it seems the flame chasers are still regular people, but the threads of fate somehow gathered all of them in the same place, at the same time. All of them are part of Eden's clique of the Golden Courtyard, though because of the fame of Eden and Vill-V, she often hides this fact.
"No, i can't be that shameless..." She still has her pride after all.
"I should go buy something for Rin, maybe something sweet" Sakura muttered to herself while walking down the street, yet as she takes the path she usually takes, she stopped by a building.
"Mihoyo....? this building wasn't here before...what is this?" Somehow, Sakura found herself entranced, as she got in to the building main lobby.

Morgan's daily life proceed as normal, he would teach at the school as usual, and also going to his company to prepare for the grand opening and the making of the first trailer and teaser. He also never neglected his studies to further master his herrscher core, often reading from the database inside void archives.
"How is the recruitment process? anyone interesting come up?"
["All going as expected, with an offer this good for a starter company, one must be an idiot to reject working here. But they are all regular employees, none of them seems to possess special capabilities"]
"We need as much capable people as possible, but what we need most right now are someone trustworthy...i don't want this place to turn into something like the FIRE MOTH. When faced against Honkai, Unity is much more important than strength"
["Host, someone just entered the Lobby"]
"Huh? is it one of the recruits?"
["No, its a person of interest"]
The monitor in front of him displayed the CCTV on the lobby, and there he sees a familiar face. Sakura, she seems to be aimlessly wandering around the lobby with a stoic expression. What is she doing here?
"Setsuna..." Morgan muttered to himself before standing up and walking over to the lobby to greet her.
[POV SHIFT]
"This is a company studio, it's way too luxurious" Sakura is exploring through the lobby aimlessly, all of the things here looks like it comes straight from a sci-fi setting either that or its advanced technology, from the hologram to the massive screen on the lobby, it is definitely extravagant to see.
As she was busy loitering around the lobby, she was confronted by a handsome older man, based on his appearance, she thought this man is one of the employee of this building.
"Can i help you?" Morgan asked while giving her a friendly smile.
"Hmm? No, i'm sorry, i was just curious about this place, i will be leaving now" Sakura widened her eyes slightly upon being confronted, yet she maintained her calm and stoic demeanor.
"Please, Miss Sakura, don't be in a hurry...." Morgan tried to stop her from leaving, yet, he just did a slip up.
"How did you know my name?" Sakura turned around, murderous intent enveloping her as she stared back at Morgan with a hollow gaze.
{"I might be too eager..."} Morgan thinks to himself, face to face against the murderous intent from this pink haired girl.
After minutes of explanation to Sakura, they began talking with each other on the lobby. Yet, because of this misunderstanding, he has somehow comprehended her recent problems. Thankfully, his company is never lacking an extra programmer.
"I almost thought you were a stalker or someone dangerous...i'm sorry for misunderstanding" Sakura bowed her head, feeling responsible after leaking her killing intent.
"It's fine, it's all my fault anyway..." Morgan felt bad for lying to her, telling her that the reason he knew about her is because he was also Rin's teacher, even though it is a different class from the one he's teaching. But its a good enough excuse for now.
"Miss Sakura, do you want to work for Mihoyo?"
"Eh? Me?! why?"
"Mihoyo is in dire need of a programmer and since you are out of job right now, i am thinking of hiring you to work for our company..."
"I will think about i-"
Morgan enthusiastically slammed a piece of the prepared contract on top of the desk, causing Sakura to nearly jumped, yet she still maintained her professionalism and stoic personality. She still has some skepticism for entering a new game company.
"Please have your answer by tomorrow"
"Uhm...y-yes..." Sakura is a bit overwhelmed by Morgan's enthusiasm, she took the contract from the top of the desk and stuff it inside her bag. "Thank you for the offer..."
Sakura departed from the studio with a deep thought, should she accept this offer? Either way, she needs to be careful, she can't just accept this offer without doing her homework.

"I'm home..." Sakura entered her home, which is a fancy villa converted into a dorm located a few walking distance away from the city. This dorm nicknamed the Golden Courtyard is where she and her friends are staying together.
"Sister Sakura, welcome back~" Pardofelis
It seems almost everyone is here except for Eden, Aponia, Mobius, Vill-V and Su. All of them are usually very rare to see around because of the nature of their work.
"Sakura is very early today~ usually you're out late~" Elysia came out from inside her room, she sports a bright smile to sakura. "Oh, what's wrong, you seem troubled..."
Elysia noticed how Sakura's expression seems troubled, she immediately trots closer to her and suddenly gave her a friendly hug from the side. "Do you need to talk? Pretty girls need to help each other~"
Sakura is surprised by the sudden closeness and intimacy. yet, she still gives Elysia a faint smile while maintaining their stoic demeanor. As much as Elysia can be a social terrorist sometimes, her existence did bring people closer together.
"Okay Elysia..."
Sakura began talking to Elysia about her odd experience outside, how she got fired from her job and suddenly got an offer from a starter company. Sakura herself already done her research about the company on the way here and even gave the contract a read, it is almost too good to be true.
"That's....do you think that boss is after your beauty?" Elysia bluntly said
"Sister Sakura, sounds like that guy is definitely after Sister Sakura for some reason, Pardo is sure of it!" Pardofelis that has been listening while lazing from the side chimed in her thoughts as well.
"No no, i don't think that's the case...i mean, the contract is good and it pays double what my old job pays me...and he seems too eager to employ me, but i don't think that guy is that kind of person..." Sakura shook her head in denial. "Besides, i'm just average looking..."
"You're a pretty girl, Sakura! obviously that boss CEO has fallen in love with you at first sight! who wouldn't fall for such a pretty Sakura~. but of course, if he sees Elysia, maybe he will fall for me instead~?" Elysia winked at Sakura while maintaining her cheerful smile.
Sakura blushes, she has never considered herself to be a beautiful girl, but that's mainly because she is surrounded by top tier beauties herself, her common sense is a bit skewed in this regard. "Uhm....thank you Elysia...b-but, i still think that guy is not such a person"
"But just to be safe, how about i accompany you tomorrow? i am also curious to see what kind of game company would have such an extravagant studio~" Elysia spoke in a mischiveous tone, she wanted to protect her friend, but at the same time, she was also curious about this Mihoyo Studio.
"Just to be safe, maybe i should bring Eden~"
"That's too much!"
"Awww, don't worry Sakura, Eden always listens to me~" Elysia hugged her from the side, rubbing their cheeks together.
