Chapter 202 - Chapter 201: A Chance to Reconnect

The week after Debbie ended things with Pasco was a whirlwind of emotions. She found herself alone, but there was a strange sense of relief settling in her heart. No more waiting. No more uncertainty.

Felix, however, wasn't far behind. It didn't take long

for her to receive a message from him—one that was simple but carried an undertone of urgency. "Can we talk?"

She agreed to meet him at a small café, and when she arrived, Felix was already there, waiting patiently with a soft smile on his face. The warmth in his eyes made her heart flutter.

"Felix," she began, unsure of how to approach the

conversation, "how did you know about Pasco?"

He chuckled softly, a knowing glint in his eyes. "I

know you, Debbie. You've been distant lately, and I

saw the way things were with him. I figured it was

only a matter of time before you realized it wasn't

working."

Debbie looked down at her coee, unsure of what to say. Felix's perceptiveness both comforted and

intimidated her. She hadn't expected him to

understand so deeply.

"I want to make this easy for you," Felix continued,

leaning forward slightly. "I want to give you the space you need to heal, but I also want to give you

something else—a chance to escape. Just the two of us.

She raised an eyebrow. "Escape? Where?"

Felix smiled, his eyes twinkling with excitement.

"Italy. I've been thinking about it for a while now. I

want to take you there. To Rome, to Venice, to

experience it all. I'll take care of everything—flights,

accommodations, everything. All you have to do is

make time for me. "

Debbie was taken aback. Italy? A vacation? It felt like a dream, something too extravagant to be real. But the sincerity in Felix's voice left her speechless.

"Felix, I don't know—"

He interrupted her gently, taking her hands in his.

"Debbie, all I need from you is to make time for me.

Just say yes. You don't need to worry about anything else. I'll handle the details, and I promise you, it will be everything you've ever dreamed of. This is my way of showing you how much you mean to me."

Debbie stared at him, the weight of his words sinking in. She had always thought of her future as

something uncertain, a series of decisions that never felt quite right. But with Felix, it felt different. He wasn't asking for her to choose him out of obligation—he was asking because he wanted to give her a chance at something more, something beautiful.

"I need some time to think," she said softly, still

unsure. Felix squeezed her hands, a smile tugging at his lips.

"Take all the time you need. Just know that I'm here, and I'll be waiting."
