Felix's grandmother summoned him to the family's
ritual room, a place he had avoided since he was a
child. She placed a small, worn box in his hands.
"Your mother left this for you, Felix. It's time you
understood her story."
Inside, Felix found a letter and a photograph of his
mother, standing with a man who wasn't his father.
The letter explained everything: his mother had been in love with someone else, a man who didn't share the family's gift. Their relationship had been
forbidden, and she had been forced to choose
between love and legacy.
Felix's hands trembled as he read her words. "I chose the family because I believed it was the right thing to do. But it broke my heart, Felix. Don't let this gift become your cage."
