Just as Pasco and Debbie were trying to find their
way back to each other, Pasco's father arrived in
Phnom Penh. The reunion was not as warm as
Pasco had hoped. His father had always been a
man of power and control, and now, he had come
to ensure that Pasco stayed on the path he had
chosen for him.
"Pasco," his father said, his tone authoritative, "I
didn't send you to Bangkok to waste your time.
You're needed back in the company. It's time for
you to take your place."
But Pasco was no longer the obedient son he had
been when he left. He had spent too many years
living in the shadow of his father's expectations.
Now, he had to decide: would he follow his father's
commands, or would he choose his own path?
