Chapter 7 - Chapter Seven:

LIAM

I drive out of the school after basketball practice with Beatrice sitting in the front seat. She must have noticed my spoilt mood so she didn't say anything throughout the ride.

"I'll see you in school tomorrow," I said, without sparing her a glance as I pulled up in front of her house.

"My parents are in, I think you should come say hi," she offered but I quickly declined.

"Not today."

She nodded and got down from the car. I immediately drove off, ignoring her as she wave me.

I drive straight home and thankfully, no one was around when I arrived.

"Good evening sir," one of the maids greeted me as I walked in.

I handed over my bag and jacket to her and walked straight to my room.

I needed a fresh shower so I went straight to the bathroom, my mind swirling with frustration.

I turned the shower on, letting the cold water cascade down my body, but it did little to distract me from the thoughts of Zara.

She had a knack for getting in my way and it infuriated me.

The friends and Ben the whole school always admired and feared my ability to control the social scene at school, that was until she came.

Now, he was a laughing stock.

None of those nerds have dared to talk about me right before me but I am positive they do that behind my back and it's all because of her.

I'm not going to spare her.

Dating her and breaking up with her isn't just enough.

I have to do something that will break her spirit , something that will make her wish she was dead.

And I know just what to do.

I quickly turned the shower off and wiped my body, before changing into something casual.

I walked downstairs to the maids setting the table but I ignored them and walked to the garage, where I started my car and drove off.

I drove several minutes and soon, I got to my destination.

I parked and took the elevator to the third floor, stopping outside the familiar door.

I pressed the doorbell and waited for a few seconds before the door opened, revealing my science teacher.

"Ummm….Liam? What a pleasant surprise!" She exclaimed, surprise evident in her voice, as she moved aside for me to step inside.

I nodded and walked inside admiring how spotless the place was.

"What bring you here?" She asked, pushing her hair to one side of her neck.

I smiled, knowing what she was doing and I was here to offer her my services.

I mean, this isn't my first time and she isn't the first teacher too. How else am I still on the team? And even still in school.

"I missed you," I said, my eyes circling her body as I licked my lips.

I took slow steps towards her and wrapped an arm around her waist before pulling her close.

A low moan escaped her lips as I pressed mine against hers.

****************

"So tell me Liam. Why are you actually here?" Miss. Carter asked as she traced invisible circles on my chest.

I looked down on her and smirked.

"Come on, it's been months since you came here and I know you only come here for favors so spill it."

This time she sat up with a serious expression.

"We have a group project coming up this week, right?"

"So you want Paul to be your partner?" She asked but this time I shook my head.

Paul is a nerd and he has the most perfect score in the whole class but that kid smells like broccoli.

The only reason why I'm always partners with him is because he does all the work and I don't even have to be present.

The best part is he never complains.

"What? I don't under. If you don't want Paul then who do you want?"

She pulled me out of thoughts.

"Zara."

Her eyes widened in surprise at my answer.

"What? I thought you hated her. Like you two are always fighting or something."

"I do, but there's a reason." I rolled my eyes.

"And what's that?"

"I can't tell you."

I sighed, getting up and putting my clothes on.

"Why? I think I deserve to know,"

She said stepping in front of me.

I let out a breath through my lips and rolled my eyes.

"I told you I can't tell you. Now do what you have to do or else,"

I said shooting her a glare before walking away.

The drive back home was shorter than I expected and I don't even know why I expected it to be long.

I mean, this isn't my first time driving to back to or from Miss. Carter's.

"And where have you been young man?" Dad asked as soon as I walked in. I raised my head to see him sitting at the dining table with mom and Eva.

"I had something to do."

I stated and started walking towards the stairs.

"And what was so important that you weren't answering my calls?"

My brows furrowed in confusion because my phone didn't ring or at least I didn't hear it ring.

I quickly pulled it out and saw about ten missed calls from him.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know my phone was on silent," I told him because that was the truth.

"But why did you call me so many times?"

"I was busy with some work and your mom was busy too so we wanted you to pick Eva up from ballet practice," he said.

"It's no big deal. You could have just sent one of your assistants to do that." I shrugged.

"Well, your mother thought it wasn't safe," dad replied and I scoffed.

"Yes, it's not safe. You have lots of enemies and who knows who might do what," mom rolled her eyes.

"You know I had lots of enemies before you married me," dad said calmly but I wasn't in the mood to listen to their bickering so I just went to my room.

"So how are you going to do it?" A chat from Lucas came from the group chat.

"Yes Liam. I'm also curious," Levi replied. "I mean that girl hates you guys." He added.

I opened the chat and began to type my reply.

"I don't care if she hates me. Watch me break her ego."

I pressed send and waited for a reply.

"Break her ego? That girl won't even let you come close to her," Matteo relied.

ME: It doesn't matter. I have already started with step one.

LUCAS: Step one?

ME: Yes. And she won't have a choice but to come close to me.

LEVI: What did you do?

ME: You'll all see tomorrow. Just relax. I just can't wait to see her expression though.

I felt a smirk creep across my lips as I typed. We went back and forth for a while before everyone eventually went offline.

I quickly opened my instagram app and searched for Zara, hoping to see how her profile looked like.

After searching through numerous accounts, I saw hers, which I recognized by her picture as her profile picture.

I browsed through for a bit and she didn't even have any pictures posted. She didn't even have followers, yet she's full of ego.

Annoyed, I turned my phone off and went to sleep.
