In the study, Shang Yunyan had the four new arrivals take a seat. He looked them over carefully—three men and one woman. Each man had a distinct personality.
One of the men was tall and imposing, with a square jaw and a thick beard. His sharp eyes held a ruthless glint, suggesting that he was someone who would never be taken advantage of in business negotiations. Another man was tall and slender, wearing gold-rimmed glasses. His intelligent eyes seemed to see through everything, making him the perfect fit for running a company. The last man appeared innocent and honest, but his quick mind and composed demeanor suggested he was the heart and soul of any group he was part of.
As for the woman—she had an alluring, curvy figure. Her large, bright eyes behind her black-framed glasses seemed to tell a thousand stories, drawing the gaze of any man. She was undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with in negotiations.
"Do you all have ID cards or something?" Shang Yunyan asked.
"Rest assured, Young Master, when we were assigned to this mission, all our identity paperwork was completed. Additionally, each of us has brought a cash flow of one billion to support the project," said the man with the square jaw.
"Hmm, good. Do you all have names?" Shang Yunyan asked, intrigued.
"Yes, Young Master! My name is Shang Jingchen!" said the man with the square jaw.
"I'm Shang Yanche," replied the man in the gold-rimmed glasses.
"My name is Shang Jiancheng," said the seemingly innocent man.
"Young Master, I am Shang Wantong," the woman introduced herself.
"Great! You all have names. Do you have any place to stay?" Shang Yunyan asked.
"You don't need to worry, Young Master. We'll arrange our accommodations soon. We'll choose a location depending on the work you assign to us," said Shang Jingchen.
"Alright then. I recently purchased a piece of land in the capital, and I want to use it to build the most advanced and cutting-edge logistics and courier company in the world. The delivery machines in my company, just like you, come from the future. So in the next couple of days, I need you to contact the person in charge of my investment company and sort out the land dealings. Then, we'll need to demolish and rebuild the buildings on that land quickly. Speed is key," Shang Yunyan instructed.
"Yes, Young Master! We don't all need to be involved in this, though. You can assign the other two of us to different tasks," Shang Yanche suggested.
"Good! Wantong and Jingchen, you two will handle the logistics and courier company. The company is not yet registered, but we have the patents. I'll send you the patent numbers and certificates later, and I'll transfer 10 billion to you both. I'm entrusting you with this matter!" Shang Yunyan assigned.
"You're too kind, Young Master!" Shang Wantong said.
"Jiancheng, you'll assist Xue'er in managing United Fit. Get the company listed, and while you're at it, withdraw some of the investment funds from United Fit to fund our upcoming logistics company!" Shang Yunyan continued.
"Yes, Young Master!" Shang Jiancheng replied.
"By the way, Wantong, the name of the logistics company will be 'Yunyan Tianxing' (运衍天行)."
"Understood, Young Master!" Shang Wantong confirmed.
"And what about me?" Shang Yanche, the only one without a task, asked.
"For now, you can rest. But I'll have a new project for you in the next couple of days," Shang Yunyan responded.
"Yes, Young Master!" Shang Yanche nodded.
Shang Yunyan handed out Xue'er's contact details to the group and then made a call to her.
"Xue'er!"
"Young Master, did you need something?"
"I've assigned a very capable secretary to your company. One of them will join you in running the business. He'll be the general manager, just like you, and the two of you will work closely together. His task is to help get the company listed. I also have a great investment project, and he'll be involved in that as well. He'll contact you soon. The night passed without incident. The next morning, Shang Yunyan, in his capacity as Chairman of United Fit Investment Ltd., filed lawsuits against the public accounts and individuals who had spread false rumors, slandered, and defamed him recently.
Meanwhile, Yan Yongqing was crying bitterly while holding Liang Sheng in her arms.
