My eyes crept open, revealing a clear blue sky with no clouds in sight. I sat up, letting out a yawn whilst stretching before I began to survey my surroundings. I look in every direction but all I'm greeted by is an endless expanse of grass going well beyond what my eyes can comprehend.
Before I even gained the chance to be worried about the environment, a half-transparent blue screen appeared in front of me. Surprised, I instantly jumped back, skidding across the slightly moist grass before getting ready for something to happen. After a couple of minutes, of nothing, I finally begin to relax as I approach the blue screen in front of me.

As I read the text plastered on the blue screen I couldn't help but wonder what strange magic was at play. "This seems to be about me," I whispered to myself, not expecting a reply, but to my surprise, I heard a voice from right behind me confirming my thoughts. Quickly turning around the owner of the voice came into view. Now standing in front of me, was a humanoid fox chewing on a piece of meat."Were you the voice from before" I couldn't help but voice out my speculations that such a thing could speak. "Yes, I am indeed the one that spoke, and yes, that information is about you; it's called your status, and you can withdraw or Summon it by simply saying "status." Seeing that the creature in front of me didn't seem to have any thoughts of attacking, I decided to follow its words, calling out the phrase "Status", causing the blue screen to disappear.
After I withdrew my status, the fox continued, "Mr Orin, welcome to the tutorial of the tower. Now I'm sure you must have a lot of questions, and they'll be answered in due time, but for now, I'd be more worried for what's to come." Hearing these ominous words, I instantly adopt a defensive stance, ready for anything that may happen. "Now, Mr Orin, in order to pass the tutorial, there is one simple task you must complete. You must kill a goblin using nothing but a sword." As soon as the rabbit spoke these words, another blue screen appeared, along with a sword that fell to the ground.

After reading this notification, I quickly bent down, picking up my sword that lay in the grass. Looking over the sword, I felt a sense of familiarity until it finally hit me; this was the exact sword I had entered the tower with. I hadn't even noticed it was gone.
Noticing that I was ready the rabbit waved its hand causing a 4ft tall green-skinned monster with a poorly built spear to appear. Upon seeing this creature called a goblin, I dashed forward, not giving it a chance to get ready. I appeared in front of the green-skinned midget, swinging my sword as swiftly as possible, causing the foul stench of blood to permeate throughout the air. Looking down at the headless corpse in front of me, I couldn't help but exclaim, "Isn't this too easy." As I walk forward I kick the corpse to make sure it's dead before turning towards the rabbit with a questioning gaze.
"Congratulations, Mr Orin, for passing the tutorial quest, proving that you reach the minimum standard to enter the tower. Now go and adventure to your heart's content as you climb higher and higher and maybe one day become a god." Immediately after the rabbit finished speaking it began to turn into light particles disappearing into the atmosphere. "Wait I still have some questions I wanted to ask!!" I yelled as loud as I could, hoping for an answer to come, but sadly, one never did. Giving up on getting an answer, I looked over to the status screen, notifying me that I passed the tutorial and gained 1 point in each stat.

Once the timer reached zero, I was enveloped by a blinding light, causing me to cover my eyes in plain. After a couple of seconds, I peeked through my fingers to check if the light was gone. Seeing that there was no more light, I completely uncovered my eyes, finding that I was in a completely different environment than before.
Now, instead of an endless sea of grass, I find myself on a small grass hill surrounded by sand on one side and a withered forest on the other. Not knowing what to do I decided to take a little break. After 15 minutes of rest, I finally muster the will to check out my surroundings. Slowly descending the grass hill I eventually reach the edge between grass and sand. Just as I crossed through to the desert area a notification appeared before my eyes.
