Chapter 2 - Chapter 1:Setting Off

The dawn in Yining,a remote town in Xinjiang,China, bathed Li Ya's desk in slivers of sunlight through the gaps in the curtains. As she opened her eyes, the image of the radiant, mysterious flower from her dream was still vivid in her mind. She knew this was no ordinary dream but a guiding sign from fate. She decided to follow this sign to uncover the secrets hidden within her dream.

Li Ya began to prepare for her journey. She gathered some essentials, including a notebook, pens,a camera, and some basic outdoor gear. She also packed a book about the history and legends of Yining, hoping to find some clues. She knew this trip might change her life, but she also felt an inexplicable excitement and anticipation.

Before departing, she left a letter for her parents, telling them she was going to explore the secrets of Yining and promising to stay in touch. Her father, who had a deep understanding of Yining's history, was worried but also understood his daughter's adventurous spirit. He gave Li Ya an ancient compass,a family heirloom that might come in handy on her journey.

With the compass in her backpack,Li Ya felt a mix of curiosity about the unknown and reverence for her family's history. She took a deep breath, stepped out of her home, and embarked on the quest to find the Eternal Flower.

Her first stop was the bustling Hanren Street in Yining, teeming with the vibrancy of life. She walked through the lively market, filled with various handicrafts and local specialties. She bought some dried fruits and nang for the journey, her eyes also drawn to the colorful textiles and exquisite silverware.

In the market, she encountered an old woman selling spices. The woman's eyes were deep and bright,as if she could see into one's soul. She handed Li Ya a small bag of spices, saying they could ward off evil and bring good fortune.Although skeptical,Li Ya gratefully accepted the gift and put it in her backpack.

Continuing on,Li Ya visited the Kazanci Folklore Tourism Area in Yining, hoping to find information about the mysterious flower from her dream. The area was quiet and dignified, with various cultural exhibition halls and handicraft shops. She searched diligently in the history and botany sections but couldn't find any records similar to the flower in her dream.

As she was about to leave,an elderly cultural guide noticed her.The old man's eyes flickered with surprise when he saw the compass in Li Ya's hand.He invited her to his office and told her that the compass might be related to an ancient legend of Yining.According to the legend, there was a mysterious garden where an Eternal Flower grew, capable of revealing one's destiny and secrets.

The old man gave Li Ya a yellowed map marked with the route to the mysterious garden. He told her that the garden might be hidden somewhere in Yining, but only a true explorer could find it.

Thanking the old man,Li Ya felt a surge of excitement. She knew this map could be the key to unlocking the secrets of her dream. She decided to follow the route on the map and begin her exploration.

As the sun set,Li Ya stood by the Yili River Landscape Belt in Yining, gazing at the distant mountains and grasslands, her heart filled with the unknown and anticipation. She took a deep breath and embarked on the journey to find the Eternal Flower.

The route on the map twisted and turned, leading through grasslands and forests towards an ancient mountain range.Following the map's markings,Li Ya crossed golden wheat fields, the waves of grain gently swaying in the breeze,as if bidding her farewell.

Her steps were firm and strong.Despite the long and unknown journey ahead, her heart was filled with courage. She knew this trip was not just for writing but also for finding the meaning of her existence.

As night fell,Li Ya pitched her tent by the People's Park in Yining. She lit a bonfire, its flickering light providing warmth and brightness in the darkness. She took out her notebook and recorded the day's experiences and her expectations for the next day.

Beside the bonfire, she took out the yellowed map again and studied it carefully. The map seemed to point towards the Baytula Mosque in Yining, which might be the entrance to the mysterious garden. She decided to head there first thing in the morning.

Late into the night,Li Ya lay in her tent, listening to the wind rustling through the leaves, and gradually fell into a deep sleep. In her dream, the mysterious flower appeared again, its light even brighter,as if telling her she was getting closer to the truth.

Early the next morning,Li Ya woke up,packed her tent, and continued her journey.Following the map's route, she traversed through dense forests until she arrived at the Baytula Mosque.

The mosque stood on an open meadow, surrounded by ancient stone pillars. The pillars were engraved with strange symbols,as if telling old stories.Li Ya approached the mosque and found a stone lotus seat in the center, with an old book on it.

She carefully opened the book and found it recorded the legend of the Eternal Flower. The book said that the Eternal Flower was the guardian deity of Yining, and its petals could bestow wisdom and strength upon people. However, only those with pure hearts and strong wills could see it.

Li Ya closed the book, her heart filled with awe.She knew she had to prove her worth to see the flower.Standing in the center of the mosque, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She felt a force surging within her,as if she had formed a mysterious connection with the land.

When she opened her eyes, she saw the stone pillars around the mosque starting to glow, and a door of light slowly opened before her.She took a deep breath and stepped through the door of light, embarking on the journey to the mysterious garden.
