Chapter 2 - Preparation

After Kojiro returned home, he sat cross-legged on the floor, opened the system's shop, and started checking the items that the system is selling.

"Well, from tomorrow I am going to start attending the ninja academy If I want to make a difference in this village, I need to be known as a genius and gain the attention of the higher-ups as soon as possible." Kojiro thought seriously to himself.

While Kojiro was checking the system's shop, his eyes shone brightly when he saw an item and said to himself, "I always wanted to be a sword cultivator, and this manual is perfect for me."

Kojiro then said to the system, "System, I want to buy the Sword Art Foundation manual."

The manual costs 100 cultivation points. Host, do you still want to purchase the manual?

Kojiro nodded his head and answered the system, "Yes, I am sure."

Suddenly, from thin air, a black manual appeared next to Kojiro. He picked up the manual and started checking the manual briefly.

"Yes, this sword art manual is perfect for the current me I never wielded a sword before I need to master the fundamentals and build a solid foundation if I want to reach the pinnacle as a sword cultivator." Kojiro thought to himself while smiling

After putting the sword manual to the side, Kojiro continued browsing through the system's shop items again.

"Next I need to get a sword. The sword doesn't need to be a good quality sword or an artifact because the sword I am planning to buy is a sword that I will use to train my swordsmanship." Kojiro contemplated with himself.

He then started checking the system's shop again, and then when he read the description of a sword in the system shop, he smiled widely because the sword was perfect for him. It only costs 10 cultivation points, and it is made of black steel. He remembered his father's friend, who is a very popular blacksmith in the village, once said to him that black steel is very sturdy steel, and it is the perfect steel to forge ninja tools and swords.

Kojiro didn't waste any time and said to the system, "System, I want to buy a black steel longsword."

As you wish, host.

A black longsword appeared next to Kojiro. He grabbed the sword's hilt and looked at it with affection, and then he said to it, "From now on I will call you the beginning sword because you will accompany me to start my journey to reach the top as a sword cultivator."

Kojiro then continued browsing the items in his system shop, " now I need to buy medicinal herbs to make a medicinal bath I need to remove the impurities from my body before I start cultivation."

Kojiro spent 50 cultivation points to buy medicinal herbs so he can make a medicinal bath to remove all the impurities from his body.

Later Kojiro was thinking deeply about what to buy from the system's shop: "Next I need to buy healing items."

Kojiro started browsing the system's shop for healing items he could use; the more he browsed, the more he frowned.

All the healing items Kojiro saw were quite expensive. then gazed at items that he could afford. He smiled when he saw the item and said to the system, "System, I want to buy 50 golden leafs."

As you wish, host, this will cost you 50 cultivation points.

Kojiro nodded his head when he heard what the system just said, and suddenly 50 golden leaves appeared from thin air next to Kojiro.

Kojiro smiled when he saw the golden leaves. He stood up and gathered all the items he purchased except for the medicinal herbs.

Kojiro stored all the items he bought in his cabinets except for the medicinal herbs.

Later, Kojiro filled the bathing barrel with all the medicinal herbs, and then he filled the barrel with warm water.

After an hour Kojiro stripped his clothes and got inside the bathing barrel. He closed his eyes and he started to relax.

Kojiro's body was absorbing the medicinal water in the bathing barrel slowly.

"Before I can start cultivating the foundation body cultivation method, I need to expel all the impurities from my body." Kojiro thought, and he continued absorbing the medicinal water.
