Chapter 33 - 33: Poems of Another World (Real Love)

A poem from another world written by a mad daemon about the source of his obsession.

***

You were the only real part of me

How true can Love be, in a world

without you

***

Still I see your haunting shadow

Hanging, looming, swaying to and fro.

With such great wings

How could you fall?

***

My angel, why did you die?

Is Philmania so callous that He

Would scorn His own son?

I loathe him.

***

Perhaps you have His cruelty too

You created me to Love you

But now you are gone.

***

All I am, is a mirage

Your fantasy manifested

Imaginary lover

***

I could deceive reality;

The very laws of nature,

With my tricks.

But I could never fool

You.

***

I could not give you

what you wanted.

***

I could not become

a Real Love

***

I couldn't bear to see you die

Now I wear you face as illusions

And lead man on the earth

to Love you as they should

***

Amicus, dead angel of Loves lost

I will find you a Real Love

And I will make your father suffer.
