"...." silence filled the room. Everyone watched Damon with a horrified gaze. The man was looking humiliated and appalled then.
"You are… putting allegations on my daughter." the man spoke after a gasp.
Damon shook his head looking bored.
"Not at all, i will never dare to question a lady." he looked at count Rupert and replied with a sincere smile.
Though confused, the man looked relieved by Damon's reply.
"I am questioning your intentions, count Ruppert." his eyes grew colder leaving the man in cold sweat. "My father's funeral is not complete. Yet you are creating a scene here. What are your intentions?" he asked in a harsh voice.
Count Rupert opened his mouth only to close it again. He was at a loss for words. It was true that he wanted to grab his attention and bring him closer to his daughter but he had never planned to do it openly.
