Seeing Marco's mood Ema placed her utensils down and started explaining "You are a god, Marco. A very powerful one... A long time ago we met and fought, a fun time of endless war where blood flowed more than water."
Ema took a sip of her tea and continued "At that point we were gods void of any concepts, though that meant that there was no specific field that limited us we could not reach the limits of any fields. During that endless war we met on the battlefield, you were a battle-crazed warrior and I was trying to earn every achievement possible."
Marco took a deep breath hearing Ema, hands shaking he tried to get a piece of toast but grabbed and broke his cup. This action prompted the same maid to produce a new cup and immediately replace the broken cup. Her simple action of replacing the broken cup and cleaning the area was impeccable. Not even paying attention to the maid Marco continues to give 100% of his attention to Ema.
Smiling as she saw Marco's old clumsiness she continued "We fought for aeons' Marco, but one day someway somehow, I managed to awaken and ingrain a concept. My concept is disasters and strategic war, that confrontation led me to win and push the opposition back for a while."
Ema looked at Diya, getting a simple nod. With this confirmation she continued "Diya on the other hand was a general, she used to be called the general of fog. Wherever she attacks no one will see it coming and none will realize when her troops vacate the battlefield. She was widely feared till the point that several kings tried to either recruit her or kill her." Naturally, she fought, but grit is not everything."
Ema narrowed her eyes glaring up "She lost, her army destroyed her conquests void and her suffering began. The once general of fog had to flee, she went to the mortal world hiding and fleeing from place to place. Always looking over her shoulder, afraid her enemies are on her tail. In the mortal world, she met you."
Diya continued looking at Marco "I was a defeated goddess, someone who lost everything due to my arrogance. In my run away from my failure I met you, a simple man someone that do not have to worry like I do. Someone that seems free, a wonderous soul bent on travelling the world and seeing everything the world has to offer."
Diya went towards Marco and hugged the back of his head. Pausing her words to let them sink in, knowing Marco's memory had not returned properly. Giving him time to process she nuzzled her head against his and slowly continued.
"When we met everything just clicked for the two of us. It was scary how no one in the past could understand me. No god, tactician, monster, demons, or aliens could understand me like you." Nuzzling further on Marco's head.
