The air was thick with the scent of wine and alcohol, blaring music so loud you could hear the echoes drifting through the sea, dazzling lights of various colors threatening to blind him and yet Author felt calm as he looked at the sea calmly reflecting the moon and stars above.
it's depth so deep and coldly dark with only the moon reflecting light.
He stood still letting the view in front wash over him, in his mind he wished everything still but the crowd behind him reminded him that this wish was an illusion.
The chaos behind so real yet fake at the same time, like wolves staring at you with innocent yet fake smiles. meanwhile in its mind it has already captured and devoured you.
sooner the thought came, the tranquility vanished letting him sense everything from behind.
Author sighed and turned around staring at everything.
"It's time to join the crowd "
Author moved unwillingly from the tranquility of the sea towards the chaos as he knew he had a mission to complete.
Ancient relics found in graves in china brought to Los Angeles to auction out for the rich and powerful to admire.
"More like buy and hang in thier various villas to showoff to their pleasure"
Author sighed, he was very unwillingly to be here but he had to because as the CEO of empires he had already refuse plenty of times and could not refuse this time but as a half Chinese he was not to pleased.
Born out of a Chinese mother and American father, though he was an American, he loved his mom way to much as his father died when he was young and his mother did everything possible for him to be the man he was today. And given his mom love for her culture she wouldn't be to pleased to hear he participated in something like this. But he only planned on staying for twenty minutes then leaving as no one would dare to stop him.
Author came out of his thoughts as he saw everyone moving towards the hall.
"Sir please this way", said a lady in blue tight short uniform.
"Hmm"
As she led him, he could see her moving her hips deliberately to catch his attention to bad he was not interested.
Author stared at the different decorations lining the hallway as everything got more expensive and luxurious as he walked upstairs.
Walking into a room filled with expensive taste ranging from the couch to the decorations on display.
Author looked dismissive at everything.
"Too much, are they trying to impress me or blind me"
"when will the auction start"
"Very soon sir, do you need anything"
"No you can leave"
Seeing her expression sour as she left he felt contempt.
"Gold diggers, everyone of them"
Author expression didn't change from beginning till the end as he closed his eyes and relaxed, the guards dressed in uniform surrounding him.
Ladies and Esteemed gentlemen, welcome to angel's annual auction presenting ancient relics from all over the world so please loosen your minds and ready your appraisals because you won't wanna miss out on anything.
His peace disturbed as he opened his eyes to witness what the purpose of the chaos they call an auction was all about.
" Let get on with it, anyway it's just for twenty minutes"
But author didn't know that within that twenty minutes the auction he called chaos would soon become something he would hate but couldn't forget for the days to come.
