Chereads / Lam's detective story / Chapter 6 - He found the perfect scapegoat before he killed anyone

Chapter 6 - He found the perfect scapegoat before he killed anyone

Wong, my best friend from childhood, was killed in an incident that happened 20 years ago.

Twenty years ago, Wong took Chang and Bin and stoned a little girl, Ceci, to death.

Ceci's mother, Su, always thought the girl was just missing, but found Ceci's body a few years ago.

Su deduces that the three boys killed Ceci and set out for revenge.

And we traced the deaths of Wong and Chang to Su.

On May 19, 2015, Su and Tong were successfully captured, and Tong was found to be Ceci's biological father.

In the interview room, I took out a bunch of evidence and confronted Su.

Su's psychological defense finally collapsed in the face of overwhelming evidence.

She said Ceci's father was Tong, but Tong was arrested for a crime before the baby was born, when Su was just pregnant.

Later she met Ming, the two people live together, the child was born, but also with Ming's surname.

The family of three was doing well, but Ceci's disappearance in 1995 changed her life forever.

Su always thought that Ceci had just gone somewhere, so all these years, she had been looking for the baby.

Ming accompanied her at the beginning, and then the money ran out, but Su was always unwilling.

One is determined to find, one does not want to find, so the two have a contradiction.

Su looking for a woman, then left Ming alone on the road.

I asked Su, "Does Ming know that Ceci is not his biological child?"

Su said she didn't know. She kept it from him.

Su worked her way through prostitution until 2002, when she met Sheldon, the third man in her life.

That year, Su returns to the provincial capital to work as a prostitute and meets Sheldon, who loves her.

After that, Sheldon became a regular customer, and the two gradually became acquainted.

With Sheldon alone and Su alone, Sheldon relishes the warmth Su brings him and goes on a courtship spree.

So she offers Sheldon a deal to help her find the baby.

Sheldon agrees, and the two embark on a search for a woman, but with no luck, until "xiaoqinghe" finds the remains of a child in 2007.

Su saw an identification notice in the newspaper, to do identification registration, but learned that the remains have been taken by Tong.

Su is devastated and finds it hard to accept Ceci's death.

Su got the phone from the public Security Bureau, contacted Tong, and the two said goodbye, holding their heads and crying.

After some reflection, two people decided that they had been cheated, according to common sense, Ceci missing in the water, should not die in the silt of the beach.

Su wants to call the police.

But even if they were found to be at fault, Tong said, they were too young to be held criminally responsible under the criminal law.

But Su is not willing, before is not willing to find people, now see the skeleton, do not understand the cause of death, more unwilling.

And this unwillingness, in turn, implied her, let her believe that those three little boys, is the murderer who killed her daughter Ceci.

Su is once again on the hunt, but this time, she's looking for Wong, Chang, and Bin, the men responsible for her daughter's death.

Su asks Sheldon for help in finding the killer, and Sheldon agrees.

The first one they found was Chang.

When Sheldon makes a delivery, Su, who is riding shotgun, recognizes Chang's mother.

And when Sheldon makes the delivery, Chang's name is on the receipt.

Su, with mixed feelings, talks to Tong, who lets her use Sheldon.

Su, driven by a desire for revenge, seduces Sheldon.

Sheldon can't help it. He does everything Su says.

In exchange for Chang's goods, Sheldon lures him to a mountain and ties him to a tree.

Chang, naked and battered, quickly tells them how they killed Ceci.

Su gets dizzy and feels unreal, but watching Chang burst into tears makes her desire for revenge even stronger.

Eventually, Su lets Sheldon strangle him.

After killing Chang, Su and Sheldon go into hiding for a long time, and when the police fail to act, they start looking for the other two enemies.

The second enemy Su finds is Wong.

Su was working as a prostitute in an urban village when Wong approached her and asked her to introduce the young girl.

When he finished, Wong was in a daze when he took the money and dropped the money and ID card, and Su helped him pick it up.

But as soon as Su picked up the ID card, she felt unable to move her body.

The word "Wong" on the ID card stung Su's eyes.

After Wong left, Su followed him and finally met Wong's mother, a face she had been longing for day and night.

Su is happy to have found Wong, but Sheldon is not.

Because Su didn't marry Sheldon after Chang died, and now she wants him to kill again.

Tong goes straight to Sheldon and says if you don't help, he'll report you for killing Chang.

Sheldon feels trapped, but has no choice but to continue helping.

Three people discuss how to kill Wong, ready to design a car accident, kill Wong.

Sheldon designs the route.

When Sheldon follows Wong, he discovers that he is addicted to drugs, and that when he is addicted to drugs, he always visits prostitutes to "wash away the drugs".

The trio then used Wong to take drugs and came up with a more detailed method.

When Wong visited prostitutes in the village, Su told him that she could provide him with drugs and a place to smoke.

Wong heard this and was very happy.

So after this, Wong often came to Su and became her regular customer.

I interrupted Su's memory and asked her, where did she get the drugs?

"Sheldon found it," Su says. "He's fast. He has some social connections."

Sheldon buys drugs for Su, Su sells them to Wong at a low price, and asks for sex services.

Wong considers it a second home.

On February 18, 2015, when most of the tenants had returned home and the village was empty, Su felt it was time.

Sheldon had already hidden his car in the village in order to avoid the traffic police's video.

On the night of February 18, Wong went to Town Village to buy drugs, and was hit by Sheldon's car.

Sheldon leaves on a country road, out of town to contact a good garage for repainting.

But Wong did not die.

Su hates and fears Wong and wants to kill him quickly.

But Sheldon says he doesn't want anything to do with it. He always thinks he saw Wong when he got hit.

Tong can not, can only personally, he disguised as a nurse, trying to start in the hospital, but many eyes, so that he can not start.

Tong and Su then discuss setting Wong on fire.

In order to practice, Tong also took the city village landlady's house practice.

But unexpectedly, Tong threw Molotov cocktails and set fire to the day, Wong temporarily changed rooms.

I asked Su, "How did Wong die?"

"Sheldon, he did it." "Su said.

The traffic squad has been investigating the accident. Sheldon panics and Tong does his thought work.

Tong helps him analyze the pros and cons, saying that the accident was a hit-and-run at best, but if Wong mentions Ceci's case, there is no telling what will happen.

Sheldon asks, "So what?"

Tong says, kill Wong before he speaks, once and for all.

Sheldon had no choice but to say yes.

The three took another route to help Wong make it look like a drug overdose and fall to his death.

Su chose the abandoned construction site, which is a tangled jungle of steel bars, and normal people may fall into it, Wong fell and died after taking drugs, no one would suspect.

So, on the night of April 21, Su tricked Wong into picking up the drugs.

It was raining heavily that night, and Wong couldn't find Su in the city village, so he took a black car and went to the leisure bar.

Sheldon hides in Su's room and controls Wong as soon as she enters.

Sheldon is tall and strong, and takes short Wong for a split second.

Sheldon then injects the meth into Wong's right arm and drags him out the back door of the lounge.

With Tong on the outside, the three took Wong to the abandoned site and pushed into the pit, killing him instantly.

The heavy rain washed away almost all of Wong's evidence.

But Su three, do not know that meth by smoking, rather than injection, Wong's right arm overdose of drug ingredients, but suspicious.

Wong's crutches, as well as the information of the black car driver, are places they do not consider.

I asked Su, "What about Sheldon? Why did he die?"

'When I started with Tong, I didn't intend for him to live,' Mr. Su said.

Tong has been studying law while in prison, and when he first meets Sheldon, he sees the perfect scapegoat.

Su said: "I thought about killing him, but not now, after all, Bin has not been found." But Tong can't stand my affair with Sheldon, nor can he pretend to."

Long ago, Su and Tong fell in love at first sight, and the two were soon engaged.

Su was on the cusp of a better life when she was raped.

Tong found the rapist, beat him up, killed him, and went to prison.

And Su, unable to bear the pressure of public opinion, could only leave that place, and then met Ming, and what happened later.

Su looked up at me and said, "Tong has always loved me."

That's why Tong, Sheldon's a big fan.

Sheldon gets a little bolder after two cases, and says that if Su doesn't marry him, Bin won't help.

Three people standoff, Sheldon says, anyway, they have killed people, I don't care how many more kill, Tong, you want to get involved in this, I will even you.

Tong shakes with anger, but instead of going off on the spot, he gets Su to pretend to marry Sheldon.

But Su's condition this time is a dowry of $100,000.

Sheldon arrives for the car loan and shows Su his savings.

After Su gets the code out of him, he and Tong kill Sheldon.

Same way you killed Wong -- inject Sheldon with drugs, make it look like he drove into the water.

At this point, the truth is known.

I called a few of my colleagues to have a dinner and relax.

At six o 'clock in the evening, Zheng and I were eating and waiting for Feng at Chengnan Seafood Restaurant.

Zheng told me how he found out who Sheldon was.

I was listening happily when my mobile phone rang and it was Feng.

Feng said, "Lam, can you come back?"

I said: "What, do I have to pick you up at work Detective Feng?"

"No, there's something wrong with the case." Feng sounded anxious.

We're going back to the station.

Feng showed me three photos, the first one was Bing's photo of the spot where Ceci was buried alive, the second was Su and Tong's photo of the spot where Wong was killed, and the third was a photo of Ceci's remains unearthed.

I asked Feng, what's the problem?

Feng pointed to Bing's photo and the photo of Ceci's remains and said the two locations were different.

I took the photos and looked at them carefully. They were tidal flats. I couldn't see any difference.

Feng pointed to the background of the photo and said the Angle from which you see the building.

It was only then that I found that the qinghe building in the background of the two photos did have a difference in location.

The scene Bing identified is directly opposite the qinghe building, and the photo of Ceci's remains is obviously off to the right.

The two may not be the same place, Feng says.

I mean, that's no joke. Are you sure?

Feng solemnly said, "Lam, I studied painting in college, and composition is the basic skill."

I looked at the three photos again.

Bing said Ceci was buried in the beach opposite the water level pole, with qinghe Building in front of it.

In the photo of Ceci's remains, there is a rusty water level measuring pole, but it is not directly facing the qinghe building.

The water level pole had long been abandoned and had been removed by the River Authority, so if Bing hadn't misremembered the location, it would have been questionable.

I said, "Call the river Authority and ask for the data on that water level monitor!"

A day later, the river Conservancy went to great lengths to pull the data from the archives.

I got the materials, searched separately with Feng, and finally found the work information of 1995.

It says that on October 7, 1995, the monitoring pole was moved 45 meters to the east in order to work with qinghe fishing farm.

When the poles were moved east, they found Ceci's remains.

I couldn't help but be surprised.

According to previous investigations, Ceci was killed on October 4, 1995, three days after the River Authority moved the monitoring pole.

Which means Ceci, who's been dead for three days, is moving east with the monitor pole.

I don't believe in ghosts. I must have missed some detail.

I found all the scene photos from when Ceci's remains were unearthed.

Most of them are photos of Ceci's remains, and there are several photos of items, which are broken with the remains dug up, including wine bottles, rotten furniture, etc., and several valuable things, such as rings, watches, etc.

When I asked Bing again, he insisted that he had not misremembered the location, and that it was impossible to move Ceci's body again.

I showed Bing the photos one by one, and he shook his head and said he didn't remember.

I had to reinterview Su, and she insisted she was right.

I showed her the scene photos.

Su looked at me doubtfully and I said don't look at me, look at the picture.

Su looked down at the pictures slowly.

I toss Feng a cigarette, light it myself, and observe Su.

She looked down, and I couldn't see her expression, but she looked very carefully.

Finally, her face stopped on one of the photos.

"Officer, where did you get this watch?" Su looked up and asked me.

I went over to look, and it was the picture of the watch with the hands off.

"Rolex, buried a long time, the picture is a little dirty."

Su interrupted me and asked, "Do you still have your watch?"

I said yes, and pulled out my watch from my handbag, which was wrapped in a transparent evidence bag.

Su took the watch and carefully rubbed it in his hand.

"Do you recognize him?" I asked.

Su ignored me and instead broke into a hysterical howl: "Ming, I'll kill you!"

Although the watch in the photo had been buried in the river mud for many years, Su still recognized it.

This watch was bought by her sister-in-law and later she gave it to Ming.

Su has been screaming to see Ming.

I need to see Ming, too. I need an explanation, too.

Two days later, Ming was also brought into the interview room.

Shrewd Ming, in the interrogation room kept Shouting: "You are cross-province, you have no right to arrest me, I want to Sue you!"

I watched him perform, and the angrier he was, the more guilty he was.

See him play almost, I knocked on the table: "Ming, I ask you three questions, you can answer my satisfaction, I will let you go."

Hearing that he was to be let go, Ming stopped Shouting and stared at me.

I asked him, "First question, do you know that Ceci is not your own daughter?"

Ming did not want to say, know, Su pregnant time is not right, as long as not a fool, which man will not find.

I nodded and asked, "Second question, since you already knew, why did you go to check the DNA and identify the body in 2007?"

Ming a terrified there, he has a ghost in his heart, this question can not be answered.

I nodded again and said: "Can't say it is right, the third question, is this yours?" Said I put the "Rolex" watch in front of Ming.

Ming glanced at his watch and said he didn't know.

"Rolex, very expensive, you took a picture with it, remember?" Then I took out Ming's young photos.

Ming in the photo is in his 20s, standing on the Yellow River Bridge, with his hands clasped to his chest, deliberately exposing the "Rolex" watch on his hands.

Ming looked a little uneasy, he swallowed, said: "That watch was lost by me."

"Where did you lose it?" I asked.

Ming answered quickly and said he forgot.

I sneered and said, "Forget, let me help you remember that the watch you lost was found next to Ceci's body!"

Ming's mouth opened wide and his throat made a strange noise.

On October 4, 1995, Ceci did not die, but climbed out of the pit, crying and walking home, did not take two steps to meet Ming who came to find her.

Ming looked at the bleeding Ceci, originally very angry, but on the way home, looking at the four under no one, his mind, out of a terrible idea.

Ming has been very depressed, he wants a son, to continue the family.

He already knew Ceci was not his own, and because of Ceci, Su refused to have another son with him.

Ming thought more and more, suddenly stopped and looked at Ceci by the moonlight.

He is also a little tangled, after all, raised for several years, but at this time he has another voice in his heart, is a little boy, keep calling dad.

Ming took Ceci to an abandoned house by the river.

But Ming did not dare to do it, but locked her in the room.

The next two days, Ming continued to pretend to look for her daughter, and secretly came to the river in the evening to bring Ceci some food.

Ming afraid of Ceci crying, take the watch to coax her, and then find her to, Ceci said lost.

For the past two days, Ming has been hesitant to kill Ceci.

Ming wanted a son very much, but he still couldn't bear to kill the child.

On the third day, Su decided to call the police and changed Ming's mind.

Ming was shocked and afraid, once the police find Ceci, understand these two days, he not only can not give birth to a son, even daughter-in-law will not.

Motivated by this idea, he followed Wong's example and attempted to frame the three young boys.

Ming takes Ceci and finds where she says Wong dug the trap.

But by this time the pole had moved 45 meters to the east, so Ming didn't see the trap and had to dig another hole.

On the night of October 8, 1995, Ming killed Ceci and buried her in a pit.

Ming finished this thing, his hands trembled, but there was a sense of pleasure in his heart.

He thought the plan was perfect, and Su had no more reason to refuse to have a son with him.

But he far underestimated the power of maternal love, Ming did not expect that Su even sold his possessions, but also to look for Ceci.

Finally Ming had no choice but to break up with Su.

Ming did not expect that Su's crazy revenge, a serial murder in which three people were killed, finally let his wishful thinking come to nothing.

"It is not as good as heaven, Ceci's thing, has been 19 years, 6 months and 24 days, to see the prosecution period of 20 years, but it was still dug out."

That was the last thing Ming said to me in the detention center.
