The Wrecker and The Tough Guy both held Beowulf by his arms. He stood barely and didn't seem to be conscious. They were about to throw him over the wrestling ring.
Then suddenly, Beowulf's fingers elongated into claws. He broke free from The Song's grasp and took a swipe at his face, causing The Song to back away from Beowulf. Beowulf used this opportunity to kick The Song in the gut, causing him to fall over.
Then Beowulf turned to The Tough Guy and gave him a headbutt, causing him to back away from Beowulf as well, but the chain still wrapped around Beowulf's arm.
Beowulf dragged The Tough Guy close to him using his chain and performed a lariat on The Tough Guy's neck. The Tough Guy began to cough.
"Doesn't feel so good, does it?" Beowulf said while The Tough Guy remained on the floor. Beowulf started to wiggle his left arm to unwrap the chain.
The one good thing that came from being dragged by The Wrecker and repeatedly hit by The Song was that the constant attacks popped his shoulder back in place.
In the middle of releasing himself from the chain, Beowulf felt a kick at the side of his stomach, causing him to roll over the wrestling ring canvas with the chain now reaching only his wrist.
Beowulf gritted his teeth, and his eyes quivered. "I am so fed up with getting hit all over!" Beowulf raised his head to look at his attacker. Lightning Mike. His head was still shaking uncontrollably.
"What happened to The Wrecker?" Beowulf turned his head and found that The Song and The Wrecker were wrestling each other.
"Right. You should never get too attached to wrestling just one person in a Royal Rumble match." Beowulf looked back at Lightning Mike while he still lay on the canvas.
Lightning ran toward Beowulf with incredible speed and attempted to stomp Beowulf's head. Beowulf, seeing this, got up slightly from the wrestling ring's floor and used the chain that was still wrapped around his wrist and was still held by The Tough Guy to trip Lightning Mike.
Lightning Mike was tripped, tumbled, and fell face-flat on the wrestling canvas. "I have had it with you!" Beowulf exclaimed.
He ran toward the fallen Lightning Mike, used part of the chain that was wrapped around his wrist to wrap around Lightning Mike's knee, stomped on his knee, and began to pull the chain.
"AAHHHHHAAHAH!" Lightning Mike screamed in agony, constantly shaking his body all around the canvas and even biting his lip so much that blood began to drip from his mouth.
What Beowulf was doing to Lightning Mike was brutal, but he didn't care. This was a battle for his soul, so anything goes. Lightning Mike's speed and electrical abilities were a problem. He didn't know how to stop his electrical powers, but he could at least stop Lightning Mike from moving.
He was trying to mess up Lightning Mike's leg to keep him from running. Lightning Mike began using his electric powers to shock Beowulf. Beowulf felt the great electrical currents flow through his entire body, causing him immense pain, but he didn't remove his foot from Lightning Mike's knee or stop pulling the chain. He knew the electricity wouldn't kill him; he just had to keep pulling until he had injured Lightning Mike's leg. Beowulf wasn't the only one getting shocked by Lightning Mike's electric current. The Tough Guy was also being shocked because he held onto the other end of the chain. He quickly dropped the chain as he felt the electricity.
"Look at the persistence Beowulf is displaying! It's amazing, Jensen!" Daryl announced. "Amazing is an understatement, Daryl! For Beowulf to continue this horrifying submission on Lightning Mike despite the fact he is being shocked with electricity nonstop takes an unbelievable amount of willpower and stubbornness!" Jensen announced.
"You said it, Jensen! And I'll say something else! The Tough Guy ain't so tough compared to Beowulf, seeing as he dropped his chain immediately, unlike Beowulf, who is still holding onto the chain, and Lightning Mike despite experiencing unfathomable agony!" Daryl announced.
Beowulf didn't know how much longer he could hold on. He was near his limit. He then felt the same energy he felt when he first discovered his claws.
"AH!! AH! AH!! AHHHHHWUUUUUUUUUUUU!" Beowulf howled. The howl echoed loudly through the entire arena, turning every wrestler's stare to him.
"Did I just howl?" Beowulf thought, confused. He had howled plenty of times before when he was on Earth, wrestling for the W.W.U., but that was just for performance, and it was never this loud without a microphone in his ear.
But now that he just howled, it felt instinctual, like a response to the pain he was feeling. "Hmm. Weird," Beowulf thought.
Beowulf heard a sound coming from Lightning Mike's knee. He wasn't sure if it was a crack or a pop, but he knew he had succeeded in giving Lightning Mike a major injury. Also, Lightning Mike's electricity had stopped passing through him. Beowulf grinned. "It looks like you can't do that trick forever, can you?"
He unwrapped part of the chain from the injured knee of Lightning Mike and retracted the chain from The Tough Guy's end. The chain seemed to have a mind of its own, seeing as Beowulf didn't need to pull the long chain to himself; it retracted to his hand like a spring and shortened its length.
Beowulf looked down at the injured Lightning Mike, jumped, and stomped on his injured knee three times. Every time he did, Lightning Mike would jerk up and scream in pain.
"Just being cautious; better safe than sorry," Beowulf said. He used his newly acquired chain from The Tough Guy to whip Lightning Mike. Every time he did, the chain would grow exponentially, surpassing Lightning Mike's height.
Beowulf stopped whipping Lightning Mike, and Lightning Mike stopped moving. "Okay, I think I've done a good job weakening him."
Beowulf grabbed Lightning Mike by the waist and put him on his shoulder. He was heavy. Beowulf ran to the nearest rope and attempted to throw Lightning Mike off the ring.
As he was about to throw Lightning Mike over, Lightning Mike wiggled off from Beowulf, and half of his body landed on the ropes. Lightning Mike's head to his gut was outside the ring, and the rest was inside.
Beowulf rushed to Lightning Mike's legs, grabbed them, and attempted to push him over. Lightning Mike held on tightly to the last of the three ropes.
The souls of the Sea of Suffering kept sprouting out, attempting to drag him under. This caused Lightning Mike's face to grow pale. Beowulf continued trying to throw Lightning Mike's legs over. With one of them being injured, Beowulf would soon succeed. But he started to feel the electric currents coming from Lightning Mike once more. It seemed that Lightning Mike could use his powers again.
Beowulf tried to hold on to Lightning Mike like he did before, but he couldn't. He had used a lot of endurance and energy the last time, and this time he immediately let go of Lightning Mike and fell on the floor.
Lightning Mike slowly climbed back to the ring with one foot on the floor, his injured foot in the air, and one of his hands resting on the ring's rope.
But the moment he landed on the ring, The Song appeared beside him and slammed his guitar on Lightning Mike's face, knocking him over the ring and into the Sea of Suffering, turning him into one of the tortured souls.
