Well, at least the favor was granted.
Rocco trailed after Georgio, thinking how unexpected it was for Georgio to be like a child afraid of sleeping alone.
Then again, he'd always found Georgio to be a bit childish.
Lost in thought, Rocco followed Georgio as they headed out of the main building.
But just as they were about to leave, a soft whimper, "Wuff…" made Rocco pause and turn around in alarm.
"Oh no, I'm so sorry, little pup! I didn't mean to leave you behind!"
"Wuff!"
At his feet, the fluffy white dog—who looked more like a ball of cotton candy—fidgeted indignantly.
It seemed upset that Rocco had momentarily forgotten its presence.
The dog stomped its tiny paws in frustration, clearly expressing its displeasure.
"Please, forgive me!" Rocco pleaded as he nibbled the pup's soft ears.
It wasn't long before the dog's tail drooped, and it forgave him, letting out a soft sigh.
