Coming to the front door I stopped from knocking instead opting to peak into the window trying to catch a glimpse of who was inside.
'No one'
Noting how the living room was empty but the lights and TV was still on I assumed that someone was soon to return and not even a minute later I noticed someone entered the room.
ANNIS POV
"Stupid gumball always treating me like a kid"
Storming down stairs I was angry as once again gumball and dwarwin ignored any logical advice I tried to give him.
My steps were heavy as made my way downstairs the wood creaking as I finally stepped onto the landing where I began to move towards the couch which was illuminated by the already on TV.
'wonder where Levi is been?'
Sitting on the couch my thoughts wondered as my anger abated and thoughts of my recently arrived cousin popped into my head.
He didn't talk much or do much of anything but go to the elmore highschool but overall I thought he was pretty to himself as any attempts I made to talk with him were more often than not ineffective.
'Atleast he listens'
*Knocking*
Suddenly I heard a knock coming from the door making me break from my thoughts as I jumped off the couch not really worried about missing the show as I had it set to record.
"Hello?"
Approaching the door I called out curious to know who's at the door.
"It's Levi, can you open the door?"
Realizing it was my cousin I wasted no time opening the door allowing the much taller and lankier white Catman to enter.
'He seems different'
That was my first thought seeing him walk in his demeanour far different than before as unlike his previous stoic and uncaring attitude he now seems to squirm and stare into different directions as if worried about something
"Are you okay?"
I asked not expecting a response like the many other times I talked to him, but much to my surprise he responded.
"Yeah just abit tired, been out all day"
Although sounding abit unconfident levi's answer surprised me as he never left the house unless absolutely necessary something that normally only included school and the mall.
"Do anything interesting?"
My random question seemed to cause him to freeze slightly in place before resuming naturally heading towards the kitchen.
"No"
'Weird'
My mind was immediately on high alert at what was obviously a lie so I chose to follow him to the kitchen.
"Man im hungry"
Saying as he entered the kitchen I watched Levi quickly walk over and grab the closed load of bread seemingly taking a second to read the label before taking two slices of bread which threw on a plate he retrieved from a nearby cabinet after abit of searching.
'why does he look so lost?'
My confusion was immense as I watched the catman was in the process of making a sandwich and would be soon be done so deciding to continue monitoring him I walked away in order to not miss any more daisies world
