After breakfast, Selene met with Xavier at the carriage to head to her old family home then they would visit the graves.
Selene was seated beside Xavier since Agnes waited last to enter the carriage giving Xavier the chance to sit beside Selene.
"Have you planned how you will get them to hand over what is to be mine? A plan without violence," Selene said, knowing he intended to hurt someone today.
"A plan without violence is a silly plan. There is always a need for a little violence when we are dealing with greedy relatives. Did you visit them during the time you were married to that man?" Xavier asked, curious about how much Gabriel was able to help Selene.
"I did but it did not change anything. He wasn't as he is now when we went to visit them but he managed to scare them off from approaching me. I don't know what else they think I have. Did they want my mother's brooch I took with me?" Selene wondered.
