"You have been speaking of bloodlines quite often these days. I don't know if it is you who cares about it or if your family is pushing for Xavier to marry but I am a little tired of it. Since bloodlines matter so much, what do you think of our marriage? You could have picked anyone else. Was your family upset with me?" Josephine asked.
Most welcomed her but there were a few that were never happy. Luckily, Josephine didn't care to have all the Blackthorns love her.
"We made a son who inherited the talents of the old Blackthorns. My family doesn't have a reason to question our marriage. What we want now is for Xavier to match with a young lady who is just as strong as he is. That's what matters here," Nathaniel replied careful with his answer to not further upset Josephine.
