"If you didn't want what you did out then your wife shouldn't have been talking so much. Why have an affair in the first place if you were going to be this way? Then she had the nerve to make Gabriel out to be the bad guy," said Oliver.
Oliver liked that the town was seeing Selene's true ways. She wasn't innocent in all of this. It was high time that Selene knew her place. He always disliked the money and status she had in the past. Having to go to her for help was insulting.
"I didn't know Gabriel had such an admirer. You are out to clear his name like a secret lover," Xavier said, not surprised by this. "Don't look at me like that. I don't judge what anyone decides to do with their time but I hope you have told your wife."
"I am not fond of him that way you bastard!" Oliver yelled, insulted by the accusation. "I am friends with Gabriel. It is only right that I help to clear his name."
