As promised, Xavier stayed with Selene after they returned home together but prepared to leave when night fell upon the kingdom. With Selene safe inside the estate, Xavier didn't need to worry about her.
Selene seemed to be doing better already and had come to terms with her friendship being over. It was good for him to see that she did not want to come along to question Fiona on why she did what she did.
To Xavier, the reason didn't matter since Fiona knew the consequences. He found the pair to be foolish since they had to have known he would come after him. What made them so confident that he would just leave them alone?
Lucas was curious about what had Xavier in such deep thought. It couldn't be that he was considering the trouble that would come if they were caught. Was he thinking of how to kill Oliver?
