Camilla waited for Nathaniel to leave to have a word with Ragnar. "Why don't we just wake father? If this is so important, it is worth disturbing his sleep. Why do we have to stand around and watch Nathaniel act like he is one of the elders? He is old but he doesn't have that power."
"I would not like to deal with the consequences of waking father and Nathaniel most likely wants to avoid it because father adored Xavier. We should do nothing. Don't get too involved so Nathaniel cannot blame us," said Ragnar.
"I thought you weren't noticing he might say it is our fault when it is his son. I must admit that I don't care who Xavier has married. I've used all my anger disliking Josephine so I don't have it in me now. We couldn't get him to marry before so isn't it good that he has a wife?" Camilla asked, not understanding the need to fight.
