It was nearing the time for Xavier to meet with them so Ragnar started to become nervous.ย
Ragnar looked around the old family home. "How can we be so sure he didn't come beforehand to put something in here to kill us?"
"We've been here all day, you fool. We would have heard him here or have you lost your senses? I'm sure he will be here soon so we won't need to go to his estate anymore. I did not see the point in going there when we knew he wouldn't allow us in," said Camilla.
"Stop your mumbling," Nathaniel ordered his siblings. He had enough of them speaking from the moment he arrived. "It isn't long before it will be noon. If he does not show up then we will go to him."
