"Chase you out? You are the mother of the very man they want to follow their ways. Harming you would only lead to Xavier disliking them more. I don't believe they would chase you out. They have accepted you," said Selene.
"It is far more complicated now that I have noticed some things. My maiden name will protect me but should I need to get out of sight from others, I will leave my son in your hands for a moment. These days, I am starting to be annoyed with married life," Josephine confessed.
Now she understood why others disliked marriage and preferred to just live with each other until they grew tired of their lover.
"Unfortunately, I am too in love with Nathaniel to let him go just yet. I only need him to stop thinking about Xavier and focus on me. I know that troublesome son of mine is listening to me so I will save the rest of our talk for another day.
