A figure can be seen moving erratically in his sleep after a few seconds the man rose from his sleep.
"Where am I?"
That was the only thing running through his head.
A sinister and seductive voice rang through the air "You are safe,for now at least."
Her words were laced with a thick russian accent.
The man quickly tried to get up but he could not he was bound by various chains.
"What is going on?"
The woman smiled and said in a sad voice
"I was taking a late night stroll and I found you laying on the street you were buddy and bruised,I took you with me and helped you most of your wounds are healed already."
The man nodded he was a bit skeptical but this woman saved him so she had a little bit of his trust.
He looked down noting that he was covered in bandages from his neck to his chest to his legs.
"The guy's who attacked me must have did a number on me huh?"
The woman chuckled "Indeed they did."
The man asked in a raspy voice "Who were they anyway?"
The woman turned and said "You don't remember well I only found you bit if I had to guess it would be with the people we are at war with."
"War?"
The man's voice was a bit skeptical and hints of fear and anger could be heard.
"Yes our country is struggling with a internal war a new crime group has emerged and is threatening the lives of all who oppose them."
The woman said all of this with a serious face she turned and asked me a question that would change my life forever.
"Will you join us in order to bring these men down, you are a well known fighter and we could use your skills."
I sat and contemplated the offer I was already attacked by them and who says they won't come back to finish me I am safer with her and the rest of the fighters.
"I accept your offer miss...?"
She chuckled and extended her hand "Maria my name is Maria."
"It is a pleasure to meet you miss Maria my name is... what is my name?"
Maria glanced at me and frowned" I see so you have lost your memory maybe it is for the best but how about a new name how does Mario sound?"
I nodded my head I was a bit sad about losing my memories but I needed to focus on helping this organization so that my fellow country men can live in peace.
