Eli vision blurred and his head spun, as Eli looked around, he could see buildings of strange shape and height around him all crumbled torn and fallen down. The place looked like a city had once existed but had been left behind for years. However, the sky was purplish and the cloud brown and it was currently night time.
However, before Eli had even moved from the spot he was in, he spotted something from the corner of his eye.
He was standing in the middle of a tapestry surrounded by crumbled buildings on both sides. But whatever was moving around was quick and was using the buildings as cover.
"System take me back"
And, it was his mistake for taking it too lightly.

"What the..."
The key in his possession disappeared as soon as he set foot inside this place and, by the time Eli realised things had gone rather awry and probably for the worse, he was already sweating because of the unknown creature lurking in the distance.
"Ummm system how bad is it? ...it really can't be that bad right?..can you show me all the Conquest ranking?"

" I..it's not that bad..... Hey! Why didn't you say anything?". Now Eli felt deeply wronged; he just wanted to take a look and now he got even worse.
Eli tried to calm himself down and open his inventory.

Eli equipped the Samaritan Coat and Lilith ring at least they were the only two useful this in his inventory filled with junk pike. The coat's warmth assailed him like summer, but it was manageable in the chill. Eli pondered his next move after some time he put on the bronze guanlet.

Eli tried to follow whatever it was with his eyes but it would constantly move around until it had eventually stopped just underneath a pile of rubble from one of the buildings.
"In the movies, this is where the person would go check it out." Eli thought, but there was no way he was going to do that. He was on an unknown planet and all alone and whatever it was, it was clear it didn't want him to see it.
Eli started to back away making sure to keep an eye on where he last saw the figure, then when he was a safe enough distance away, he finally turned around.
"SHHHRREEEAAAAAKKKKK"
In that instant, a sound could be heard from behind, Eli immediately turned around and could see a horrible figure running towards him, it clearly wasn't an ordinary animal but something he had only ever seen in books and TV, it was a beast.
Eli could hear the scurrying sounds approaching him with alarming speed. As he turned, the creature was now in full view, a blur of motion.
When the beast was mere feet away, it leapt into the air, its claws emerging from its front limbs to slash at Eli's throat with terrifying speed.

Eli swung his hand, unleashing five crimson blood energy. The attack struck the beast, propelling it backward and revealing its true form.
A deep gash marred the creature's stomach, spewing black blood as it let out a guttural scream.
SCAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRKK.
The beast resembled a large dog with a rodent's head, black fur, and all fours on the ground. It looked like a giant rat, but its muscular arms contrasted sharply with its thin body, where ribs were visible. A small screen flickered briefly on its head.

The beast recovered and charged again, but its speed had waned. Eli waited for it to approach once more.
"Blood Claw."

Eli had misjudged the beast's agility. It dodged the blood claw and lunged forward with renewed vigor.
Just in time, Eli thrust his gauntlet into the beast's mouth as a last resort. Its massive teeth clamped down on the gauntlet, emitting a creaking sound.

"You little pest! Get off me!" Eli shouted, swinging his arm to dislodge the beast. But it held on tight.
With the beast clinging to his arm, Eli couldn't use blood claw or perform a hammer strike. He had no choice but to fight it old-school.
Eli began pounding the beast's head with his other hand. Each blow sent black blood gushing from its wounds. The strikes were powerful and effective, loosening the beast's grip with each hit.
"If you'd just stayed away, you'd still be alive!" Eli bellowed as he continued to strike until finally, the beast released its hold and collapsed.
Eli stood there, covered in black blood, but he didn't mind.

Multiple notifications flashed simultaneously, and Eli was elated. Having been in level 1 for some time now, he wasn't upset about being forced into a Conquest anymore. He had a big smile on his face; this was what he had always wanted—to become stronger.
Eli stared at the brown card. Embossed upon its smooth finish was an ominous broken hand with just three fingers design, framed elegantly by stylized lettering identifying its classification: UnCommon.

Eli was determined to utilize every advantage he could muster, fully aware that the beast he had vanquished was not the sole predator lurking in the shadows of the dilapidated structures.
Another contraption materialized - a rotating disk fitted with a single compartment intended to accommodate the obtained skill card. Mechanisms hummed quietly as he inserted the card, initiating a spinning motion until finally coming to rest. he awaited the outcome of this random selection process why keeping an eye on his surrounding before settling on the final result.
