Few hours into the party, everywhere sudden became quite, it wasn't unusual to me. It either indicates that a high profile person is entering or someone wants to make an announcement or address the audience.
I looked over the stage and found no one there but rather everyone's attention is at the double door. I took my eyes to the entrance and noticed HIM. Caspian Lucius Asher aka arrogant bingo, coming in with a Barbie or rather bimbo. The make-up on her face can last me a life time and her dress is a definition of a homeless slut. Barely covering anything on her body. Her boobs looks fake and might spill out any time soon Urhh. I took my eyes off the bimbo and look at Asher one more time.
He's indeed a Greek god in human form. His black tuxedo makes him looks hot, makes me want to rip it off....
_Jezzz Ivy get a hold of yourself_
I took my eyes off him and by then, everyone has already gone back to their respective activity. I started feeling hot all of a sudden and I don't know why. The AC is on and a bit chilly.
Ava, one of the hostess tapped my shoulder. I turned and she told me that Mrs Smith is looking for me. I thanked her and asked where she was.
Following the back door I met her in an office just like Ava directed me.
She told me to get some of the hostesses to take the charity items to the stage for auction.
I nodded and left her.
Getting back inside I called five of them to follow me, which they did. We went back inside the office where I met Mrs Smith who directed us to follow another door up to the stage. I was to enter last. The items includes, 1982 gold watch, gems and ancient items and other things I can't recognise.
The particular one I have on my hand is so beautiful. A necklace but has a round eye at the centre like a world.
The first item is being auctioned now and I can hear as people battle to have that particular item.
Soon it was just 3 persons before me. I noticed all the girls touching their faces and unbuttoning their shirts to expose their boobs. It looks like they are the one to be auctioned off and not the item on their hands I laughed inwardly and patiently wait for my turn. It's not a new thing for me. They always do that.
30 more minutes...
and it's time for the final item to be auctioned the MC announced and that's my cue to go in.
As I climbed the stage, the light nearly blinded me. I can't see anything else because the audience side is dark.
I struggled to keep a smile on my face with the item on my hands.
The MC introduced the item as a necklace named "eye of the world". He went further to explain where the necklace came from but at this point I zoomed out.
I remember Mrs Smith telling me that the money from this auction sale will go to the charity, mostly to kids cancer patients and orphanage. I was wondering how those kids manage and I am complaining that nothing is going my way.
I zoomed back when I heard the MC shout 5 million dollars. I was in awe. I wanted to know who priced it at such amount.
Let me tell you that this kind of parties are usually where the rich shows off their money and wealth. They always compete on who is the wealthiest among them.
I am glad the money will all go to the charity.
Someone at the audience raised his card for 10 million, the host echoed the amount and everywhere went quiet. After 2 minutes the host announced him the buyer and asked me to go give the item to Mr Asher.
My heart skip a beat upon hearing his name. With the darkness around the crowd which few tiny lights try to illuminate, I struggled to his table, I found him and He was seated at the centre of the hall with the bimbo clinging on him like a second skin.
I smiled at him and gave him the item. I turned to leave but he draws me back, with a tight smile I asked him what he needed. He requested drinks which I nodded at him and left... Going back to our stand, other girls were giving me a disgusting eyes, I'm used to that, so I ignored. They wants to be noticed by the rich men here. Such an irony for me. I would rather hide behind the buffet than mingle among them.
I made their drinks and because I don't know what he actually wants I made three different drinks and made my way to his table again but king Asher is no where to be found. I met another man, who look carefree there instead, I asked about him, he pointed at the back door leading to the office I met Mrs Smith earlier. I thanked the man and made my way to where he showed me.
I opened the door and froze.
The bimbo was naked and on the laps of Mr Asher who was sitting down on the chair With his pants down and his dick buried deep inside the bimbo as she bounce up and down, not minding that I just entered the room.
Mr Asher growled at me and asked what I was standing there looking at.
He looks like he's debating whether to push the girl away or not.
He asked me to drop the drinks and leave.
Wow, so shameless. They could have had the decency of locking the door or going home. What if someone else walks in.
I went into the room and dropped the drinks on the table.
The bimbo started moaning loudly. Oh fuck me baby. Fuck me harder ooh ah ah. She pressed herself more on him so that her fake boobs are directly on his face.
Mr Asher seems to be getting irritated by the noise and asked her to shut up, all the while looking straight at me
I couldn't take it anymore and took off. I came out and slam the door shut. My heart was acting funny and it's not like I like the bastard or something. I'm not even close to him, so why does it feel like my heart is shredding into pieces.
I honestly don't understand why such a prestigious man is so shameless and reckless. Wow so much for having a pretty face. He's an asshole and doesn't respect others.
Why am I even bothered?
I calmed myself down and entered back into the hall but hit someone.
Omg, so sorry I wasn't looking my front, I apologize immediately.
No worries I was looking at my phone too so I guess it's my fault. I'm sorry, he also apologized.
Wow, in the midst of rich people someone is behaving like a human.
I smiled and moved out of the way for him.
You may have to knock before entering that office, I told him and walk off.
People are already gathering to dance and my co workers are already going round, gathering glasses that are kept all over the place. My stomach growled and that's my cue to find something to eat. I met Carol who told me to manage the rest of the event. Giving me instructions on what to do. She said, she would be retiring early for the night.
I have a hunch that Carol is actually leaving with a man but who cares.
I went and got myself a velvet cake. I sat down at a hidden corner of the hall behind where the buffet was set up, just so I don't get noticed. I hate attention.
I was so into the cake that I didn't notice when someone joined my small party.
You're quite a beauty one
He spoke.
I got alarmed by the sudden voice but relaxed when I saw who it was. The guy from earlier.
You have quite a pretty face too. I commented.
He gave me a charming smile.
You're a smooth talker, thanks for giving me a heads up earlier, I nearly throw my evening meal out there. He said.
He's a shameless dick. I Said. Finishing my cake, I'm still hungry but I need to get back to work.
You may be surprised though.
Brandon is the name. Brandon Styles
Ivy Steel, I offered. I need to get back to work. I just sneaked out to help my system.
He gave his dashing smiles again. You barely ate a proper food. He commented.
I am working and so, no time for a proper meal just yet.
I excused myself and walk out to finish my job.
The thing is, no matter how busy I am. I will always sneak out time to eat something. Mrs Smith gave me that leverage after I fainted because I was gone without food for a long time...
It was during the time Carol let me manage the agency by herself, I came back late and went to bed without eating. I was hungry but too tired to stomach anything. The next day,
I left early for another event eating just two pancakes and a glass of juice.
I had to organise, direct and ensure the smooth running of the agency. I was so engrossed into the work that I skip food most times.
After a successful event, with the rule of no eating while guests are still very much around. I couldn't eat for the whole day. And then I fainted. I regained consciousness at the hospital. Doctor warned me not to go without food for 10 hours straight. He also said I have untreated Anemia from my younger age. Tears sprang to my eyes as I remembered my younger self.
Carol blamed herself so she lifted the no eating while the guest are still around. To be fair. She always let us eat before starting work and at the end of work. It got better after she made me her PA. And since then, I always take good care of myself. I don't skip meals either.
It's so funny how I love what I do and still hate it at the same time.
