Syndor's huge body landed on the cliff. Gavin hugged Daenerys tightly, then jumped lightly, holding her in his arms, and landed firmly on the ground with his feet.
He quickly took out all the dragon crystals, piled them together, and, with a serious expression, ordered Syndor to burn the black dragon crystals with dragon flames.
Under the high-temperature dragon flames, the dragon crystal began to gradually soften and emit a dazzling light. Gavin concentrated on it, using his pyromancer's ability to control the dragon crystal that flowed like magma. His hands moved with precision, as if creating a precious work of art.
Daenerys watched this with bated breath, her hands clenched unconsciously, her breathing quickening. She never took her eyes off Gavin's movements, and her heart swelled with trust in his abilities.
This process took a long time. Finally, after the dragon crystal cooled naturally, a black, rough round basin appeared before Gavin and Daenerys.
Daenerys took a deep breath, her gaze fixed on the ugly container. A trace of worry flashed in her eyes as she asked, "Is this possible?"
Gavin wiped the sweat from his forehead, a smile crossing his face. "It's just a container for blood. The next step is the key. Whether it succeeds or not, it shouldn't matter what it looks like."
After placing the dragon eggs into the slightly larger dragon crystal basin, Gavin looked at Daenerys with an encouraging smile. He knew that he would need a lot of blood, and he also realized it would be difficult for him to supply enough on his own. Fortunately, Daenerys, too, was Unburnt.
Daenerys had already heard Gavin's explanation. She took a deep breath, drew a dagger, gritted her teeth, and cut her wrist. Dark red blood began to flow, running down her hand into the black stone basin and dripping onto the dragon egg.
As the blood continued to pour, her face grew pale, and her body began to tremble slightly.
Seeing this, Gavin quickly took out a potion, cut his own wrist, and allowed his blood to drip into the potion before handing it to Daenerys to drink.
After Daenerys drank the potion, her wrist healed at a visible speed.
Gavin ignored his own wounds and continued to pour blood into the basin. As he began to feel weak, the blood finally covered the dragon egg. He suppressed his fatigue, took out a dragon crystal lid with holes, and carefully placed it on the stone basin.
At this point, the dragon egg inside the basin was completely enveloped in blood, emitting a strange and mysterious light.
Gavin ordered Syndor to carefully spray dragon flames, and the raging dragon flames instantly engulfed the dragon crystal basin.
Under the intense heat of the dragon flames, the dragon crystal basin no longer showed signs of melting but instead glowed red, like red-hot iron.
Daenerys watched expectantly, her hands clasped together, silently praying for the dragon egg to hatch successfully.
Gavin comforted her: "It may not be completed for a while. The dragon flames will continue to spray for some time. Please wait patiently."
The two of them waited by the cliff's edge as the sky darkened. The waves crashed against the bottom of the cliff with a constant roar, and the sea breeze grew colder, making their clothes rustle.
Though the dragon flames Syndor was breathing out were relatively small, after a long period, he seemed tired. He paused several times, looking at Gavin with eyes full of complaints.
Seeing this, Gavin couldn't help but smile apologetically and comfort him.
Finally, the red dragon crystal basin began to move, shaking violently, as if the blood inside was boiling.
Gavin immediately ordered Syndor to stop spraying dragon flames, then patted him gently, urging him to fly into the sea and hunt for prey.
As Syndor flew away, the surroundings grew quiet, with only the sound of the sea breeze and waves.
Gavin and Daenerys stared nervously at the burning red dragon crystal basin, not daring to breathe. Gavin wasn't sure if this method would truly hatch a dragon.
After a tense moment, the dragon crystal basin stopped shaking. The lid was suddenly pushed upward by a force, only to fall back down. Gavin swiftly removed the lid, and a small, delicate, yet mighty red dragon emerged.
The young dragon spread its immature wings and gave a clear cry to Gavin, its eyes filled with curiosity about the world.
This tiny dragon was about the size of a kitten, its sharp chamfers giving it an air of majesty. Its entire body was covered in gorgeous dark red scales, shimmering like gems under the setting sun's afterglow. The light it emitted was beautiful and bright.
The little dragon seemed to instinctively sense the kindness of Gavin and Daenerys. It staggered out of the basin, flying around them a few times before landing on Daenerys's shoulder. It rubbed its head affectionately against her cheek, letting out a low chirp, as if expressing its joy.
Daenerys stroked the dragon's scales in surprise, her eyes shining with joy.
Gavin watched this with a smile and said: "Give it a name."
Daenerys, her thoughts drifting to the late Viserys, hesitated. This dragon egg had been a compensation for his death. She finally said, "Call him Viserion."
Upon hearing this name, the little dragon seemed to understand, flapping its wings happily.
Back at the Belerys residence, Daenerys held Viserion in her arms, her excitement palpable.
She eagerly found a piece of tender meat, carefully handing it to Viserion, fully expecting him to feast. However, Viserion sniffed it with his small nose, then turned his head away in disgust, showing no interest in the meat.
Seeing this, Gavin smiled and explained: "Dragons usually only eat cooked food. You'll need to let it breathe fire. Once it obeys your command to spray dragon flames, it will truly belong to you and will obey your orders from now on."
Daenerys's heart raced as she heard this. Nervousness and anticipation filled her, but she couldn't suppress a slight unease.
She took a deep breath, trying to make her voice firm and powerful, and commanded, "Dragon flame, Viserion, dragon flame!"
Viserion tilted his head, looking at Daenerys with confusion in his round eyes, as though he didn't understand her at all.
Undeterred, Daenerys raised her voice again and ordered with expectation: "Viserion, Dracarys!"
After several attempts, Viserion suddenly seemed to understand. He shook his scales, opened his mouth, and sprayed a small ball of dragon flame as weak as a candle at the piece of meat. Though the flame was faint, it quickly cooked the meat, and the delicious aroma filled the air.
Viserion devoured the cooked meat with relish. Gavin, observing Viserion, smiled and said to Daenerys: "It looks like the little guy is quite fierce."
