Chapter 76 - Chapter 76: A Little Surprise

Sol watched with satisfaction as Loki left, but Sol hadn't forgotten the business at hand. He needed to ensure that the Amazon sisters were properly welcomed before he could consider his dealings with them fully settled.

In the familiar lounge, with the silver needle and the ever-present atmosphere of calm, the one lying on the bed was Tiona, the little sister.

"You were once members of the Kali Familia, right? How's that loli doing now?" Sol asked casually, glancing at the familia crest on Tiona's back.

The Kali Familia, much like the Ares Familia, was a group formed on a national scale. However, the Kali Familia was far more powerful—entirely composed of Amazons, and it boasted two top-tier LV6 adventurers. Coincidentally, both of those LV6 adventurers were sisters.

"That's right, Sol-sama. Do you know Kali-sama?" Tiona asked.

"Of course," Sol replied with a smile. "The black-skinned loli, the one with the same figure as Loki. Hard to forget."

Tiona, despite the vivid description, couldn't help but feel a sting when she looked down at her own figure. It wasn't every day that an Amazon shared a similar physique to her own.

'Damn it,' she thought, 'It must be because Tione stole all my nutrition when we were born!'

As Sol dripped his own blood onto Tiona's back, the Kali Familia's crest gradually melted away and condensed into his own personal logo. The transfer wouldn't affect the original favor with the guild, but Tione's status remained at LV3, though her attributes had slightly increased.

The same process was repeated for Tione, and the two sisters quickly completed the transition. After a brief chat, they left the lounge with Riveria, who had been waiting.

Sol, feeling a bit tired from the day's events, planned to get some rest. Tonight, he didn't need anyone to sleep with him.

——

As they walked along the small path in the Familia's grounds, the Amazon sisters couldn't help but look at Riveria with curiosity. She was the most powerful mage in all of Orario's legendary adventurer circles, and her presence was undeniably imposing.

Compared to Finn, the brave warrior of the Loki Familia, Riveria seemed far superior. Rumor had it that she was from the royal elf family, with countless bonuses to her aura. To the sisters, she was the very picture of perfection.

"What's the matter?" Riveria asked, noticing the curious expressions on the Amazon sisters' faces. "If you have something to ask, just say it."

"Well…" Tione hesitated. "Is it really okay for us to reject God Loki like that? She looked really angry."

Riveria smiled softly, her expression remaining calm. "Don't worry. Don't let Loki's appearance fool you. She's fine."

"But I heard that Loki Familia has 3 LV6 adventurers."

"Don't worry, if you ever run into trouble, just come to me. I'll take care of it."

The confident tone in Riveria's voice reassured the two girls. They were impressed by her self-assurance and wondered how a single person could be so confident against multiple LV6 adventurers. But Riveria's demeanor didn't waver—she was completely calm, as if she could handle any situation.

Noticing their curiosity, Riveria paused in her walk, turning to face them.

"Let's sit down," she suggested, leading them to a nearby bench in the yard. Her expression became serious, as she prepared to share a family secret.

"I'm going to tell you something important," Riveria said quietly. "It's a secret of the Familia. You must keep it to yourselves, understand?"

The two sisters nodded, intrigued but solemn.

"Initially, to reduce the taxes and expedition requirements imposed on our Familia, we reported some members' ranks as lower than they actually were to the Guild," Riveria explained.

The sisters stared at her in astonishment. "Wait... that's allowed?"

"Only if you're discreet about it," Riveria said with a smile. "If you're caught, there might be a small penalty."

The sisters seemed to catch on quickly. "But… what about those LV5s? Are they lying about their levels?"

Riveria, rarely playful, looked at them with a knowing smile. "No, the LV5s are legitimate. But… what if some of our members are not exactly as they seem?"

Tione's eyes widened. "Are you saying…?"

"Shh," Riveria whispered, putting a finger to her lips. "That's for you to figure out, but don't speak of it outside these walls."

The two Amazon sisters could hardly contain their excitement. Until now, they had believed that Sol's Familia was one of the strongest in Orario, part of the upper echelons. But if Riveria was really LV7, that meant she was on the same level as Orario's fiercest adventurers, the 'King' Ottar!

And that made them realize just how quietly Sol's Familia had grown in strength—more than they had ever realized.

The Sol Familia's power now clearly surpassed the Loki Familia. And with Riveria as an LV7, the Loki Familia's LV6 adventurers seemed much less intimidating.

Tione couldn't help but feel a growing sense of pride. It wasn't long before she began to think of the Sol Familia as her own.

That strong sense of belonging, the honor of being part of something so powerful—it made everything feel easier. For someone like an Amazon, with strength ingrained in their very DNA, this sense of security was invaluable.

It was laughable, she thought, that she had once been so concerned about the Loki Familia. But now, she realized, she had nothing to fear.

Riveria let them digest the information on their own, and the conversation slowly shifted.

Since the Amazon sisters had joined Sol's Familia, their lives had been relatively peaceful. Loki, who occasionally came to stir up trouble, hadn't caused much of a problem lately. Usually, when she came, she didn't even get to see Sol's face.

Tiona had become quite attached to Yone, often staying close to him. He had long since become immune to the title "Master," and their bond had grown stronger.

Meanwhile, Tione was much more independent. Besides her occasional sparring with Sett, she often went on adventures with the Veronica sisters.

The camaraderie among women seemed to be a strong bond, even among heroes.

Irelia's team had successfully expanded to three members, seemingly with Riveria's intervention behind the scenes.

This "big baby" (Tione) needed the experience, after all. Unlike others, Irelia was comparatively reliable.

Meanwhile, Haruhime was still not entirely comfortable working with others, finding Ahri and Eina the only ones she could truly tolerate.
