Chapter 21 - The Reveal of Ancient Distruction

That evening, after the heroes had rested and recounted their journey, I found myself summoned to the grand hall by Prince Paraksh. The message was urgent, and curiosity gnawed at me. When I arrived, the prince stood near the king, their faces clouded with seriousness.

The other heroes were already seated, and the air was heavy with anticipation. Prince Paraksh wasted no time.

"There's something you all need to know," he began, his voice steady but grave. "The magic you encountered in the dungeon—the cursed knight—it wasn't ordinary. It was Kashi magic."

I straightened at the mention of Kashi magic. I'd heard the term in passing but knew little about it. The others seemed equally puzzled.

"What's Kashi magic?" Tai asked, leaning forward.

The king, Aryarama Dweep, stepped forward, his regal presence commanding the room. "Kashi magic is a rare and ancient form of magic," he explained. "It doesn't rely on the natural elements like fire, water, air, or earth. Instead, it draws its power from unique attributes—Dark, Black, Ice, Rainbow, Sun, Moon, and Space, among others. Each attribute is incredibly powerful and dangerous in its own way."

"Dark magic," the prince continued, "is one of these attributes. It manifests as illusions, shadows, and domains of endless darkness. It corrupts, manipulates, and destroys."

Ono frowned. "If it's so dangerous, why would anyone use it?"

"Power," the king replied simply. "Kashi magic is not something one is born with. It's granted—or cursed—by ancient forces. Those who wield it are either chosen by fate or...something darker."

I couldn't help but ask, "Why are you telling us this now? What does it have to do with the cursed knight?"

The prince met my gaze. "Because Kashi magic is returning to this world. The cursed knight you faced was a vessel of that magic. And if the demon king is involved, it means we're dealing with forces beyond the ordinary."

The conversation shifted to the attributes themselves. The king explained each one in detail, pausing occasionally to gauge our reactions.

"Dark represents illusions and domains of shadows," he said. "Black, however, is even more dangerous. It represents nothingness—absolute destruction. Ice is unyielding and cannot be melted. Rainbow magic can mimic other magics, making it highly versatile. Sun and Moon magic are tied to noble clans and control celestial forces, though no one has mastered them yet. Space magic remains largely unknown, its secrets buried in time."

The room fell silent as we absorbed the information. It felt like the weight of the world had just been placed on our shoulders.

Tai finally broke the silence. "So, what do we do? How do we fight something like that?"

The prince smiled faintly. "You train. You grow stronger. The fact that you defeated the cursed knight proves you have potential."

"But potential isn't enough," Yuuki said softly. "If Kashi magic is so powerful, how can we possibly stand against it?"

The king's gaze settled on me, and for a moment, I felt exposed. "Sometimes, strength isn't just about magic. It's about strategy, determination, and the bonds you share. The five of you are stronger together than apart."

After the meeting, we were dismissed, but the words lingered in my mind. As the others discussed their training plans, I stayed behind for a moment, catching the prince's attention.

"Is there something you're not telling us?" I asked quietly.

He had not mentioned that Heros had already started adopting the Kashi magic attributes. I should not interfere here, It might disturb my plans. Though, he changed the topic.

Prince Paraksh hesitated before replying, his voice low. "Uzu, you don't have magic, but you're far from powerless. Your role in this is greater than you realize. Trust yourself."

I nodded, though my doubts remained, if he would tell us or not about wielding of kashi magic.. As I left the hall, I couldn't shake the feeling that this was just the beginning of something far bigger than any of us.

___

That evening, Princess Rimu invited the heroes to her chambers. The invitation was unexpected, and curiosity buzzed among the group as they made their way through the elegantly lit halls of the palace. I walked with them, though I intended to keep to the sidelines. It wasn't my place to be involved in these royal matters—at least, that's what I told myself.

When we entered the room, Prince Paraksh was already there, standing near a map-covered table. His sharp gaze shifted to us as we entered. Princess Rimu sat gracefully beside him, her demeanor calm but with a spark of excitement in her eyes.

"Thank you for coming," she said warmly, gesturing for everyone to take a seat. "We have something important to discuss."

Tai, always the most outspoken, asked, "What's this about?"

The prince took the lead. "We've been observing your progress since your arrival. Your recent victory against the cursed knight confirmed something we've suspected for a while now."

Yuuki tilted her head, curiosity plain on her face. "What do you mean?"

Princess Rimu exchanged a glance with her cousin before speaking. "Each of you has shown remarkable growth. Your abilities have surpassed our expectations. But more than that, you've begun to unconsciously wield Kashi magic."

A stunned silence filled the room.

"Kashi magic?" Ono finally said, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Yes," the prince confirmed. "The techniques you used in the dungeon, the way you've adapted and evolved your powers—it's not just your elemental magic at work. You're tapping into the attributes of Kashi magic without realizing it."

Tai frowned, his mind clearly racing. "But...I don't understand. How can we use Kashi magic if we weren't born with it?"

Princess Rimu explained, "Kashi magic isn't inherited like elemental magic. It's awakened under specific circumstances—extreme pressure, a deep emotional connection, or a desperate need to protect. The dungeon was a crucible, and it seems to have unlocked something within you."

Ono, ever the practical one, asked, "What kind of Kashi magic are we using?"

Prince Paraksh gestured to the map on the table, pointing to various symbols that represented the attributes of Kashi magic. "It's hard to say exactly which attributes you've awakened, but we have some clues. Tai, your ability to combine elements hints at Rainbow magic, which allows one to mimic and merge various powers."

The prince turned to Yuuki. "Your sealing techniques are undoubtedly linked to Space magic, given the precision and complexity required."

"And me?" Sen asked hesitantly.

Princess Rimu smiled. "Your healing abilities, combined with fire, suggest a connection to Sun magic. Its restorative and life-giving properties align with what you've achieved."

Ono looked thoughtful. "And my shields?"

"Most likely linked to Ice magic," the prince replied. "Its unyielding nature mirrors your defensive style."

The heroes exchanged glances, their expressions a mix of awe and apprehension.

"But why is this happening now?" Yuuki asked. "What does it mean?"

Prince Paraksh's expression grew serious. "It means you're growing into the roles you were summoned to play. But it also means the challenges ahead will only grow more difficult. Kashi magic is a double-edged sword—it's powerful, but it's also unpredictable. You'll need to learn to control it if you want to use it effectively."

Tai crossed his arms, his jaw set with determination. "Then teach us. If this is what we're capable of, we need to understand it."

Princess Rimu shook her head. "We can guide you, but true mastery of Kashi magic comes from within. It's a path you'll have to walk on your own."

After the meeting, I lingered as the others left, their minds clearly buzzing with thoughts about their newfound abilities. Princess Rimu noticed and approached me.

"Uzu," she said softly, "you've been quiet."

I shrugged. "I don't have magic, so this doesn't really apply to me."

She gave me a knowing look. "Maybe not yet. But you've always found a way to surprise us."

I had already started enough evidence that if a mage could not use magic, It would not be able to wield nature or any form of forbidden or ancient magic.

Her words stayed with me long after I left the room. Perhaps she was right. Maybe I wasn't as far removed from all this as I thought.

___

The view point of having Kashi magic was really heartful for my friends.

Anyway, I had gathered a report that human kingdom was developing something behind the scenes, which might effect this world. Well, If it had the potential to interfere in my plans I had to destroy their plans at once.

Why had they so many hopes for me?

To looked the answer, they could be thinking that 'One possible reason' which had not shown anywhere.

That possible was far more dangerous than heros.

It was "A child born from Human and Demon." The only difference was in them, 'Eyes'.

But it's a failure possibility as I was summoned from another world.
