A few years passes by, Ed Lew is currently 5 years old.
He's currently sitting alone in the corner of a classroom with a bunch of children excitingly interact with each other.
He was reading a fantasy themed story book alone before a girl came to him.
"Why you alone? What you readin?"
The girl continuously asking questions with her childish voice.
"A story about someone who's bullied became the strongest."
Ed glanced at her and answered calmly, but his slightly trembling hands showed that his heart said otherwise.
'Damn it, why is my irrational fear of girl reacting?'
'Could it be because she's my childhood crush that my irrational fear from god knows where react?'
"Can i read with you?" She asked excitedly.
He hesitated for a moment before nodding.
She sits down next to him and lean closer to read, but remember that she hadn't introduced herself.
"Oh, i forgot, my name is Desmira Celestia, what your name?"
"Ed Lew."
Desmira stare at Ed, expecting him to say more, but He just continue reading the book, causing her to pout.
"Hey, Ed, why stop, talk with me~"
She grabbed his arm and shake him, causing him to turn his attention to her.
Desmira have a conspicuous white silver hair and a pearl-like sapphire eyes, she also have a fair skin. You could see that she would be extremely beautiful when she's grown up.
Oh, and although she has a conspicuous looks, there're all kinds of natural hair color in this world, so she doesn't look out of the ordinary except for being too beautiful.
Some children also have conspicuous looks, like one of the boys at the center of the classroom flaunting his looks to other children.
While Ed have a dark brown hair and reddish-green eyes like his dad, but his hair and eyes are much darker than his dad that others often mistake him for having black hair and eyes.
"What do you want?" He asked calmly, but the trembling intensified, so much so that Desmira noticed.
"Why you tremble? Are you ok?" She asked worrily.
"I'm fine, just an odd condition of mine, don't worry about it." He answered with a smile as the trembling slightly intensified.
She tilts her head slightly before nodding, "Ok then."
She then noticed the book in Ed's hand, "Oh, lets read it together!"
The corner of Ed's mouth twitched before he took a deep breath and his trembling stops.
"Alright." He flips to front page and starts to read together with Desmira.
"What do this word mean?" She points at the word 'Magic'
"That's the superpower in the story, it can make people do miracles."
"Oh, so like the bright lights in my house!"
Ed got confused about what she meant but didn't dwell on it and continue reading with her.
They continue to read and talk with each other until a couple of boys came and interrupt them.
"You, why are you with girl." The leading boy with red hair domineeringly said, well, for children at least.
Ed look at the boys and ignored them and continue talking with Desmira about the story.
The red-haired boy got irritated and tried to snatch the book, but Ed's grip were too strong.
He gritted his teeth and commanded his boys to help while Desmira helps Ed to snatch the book back.
"Let go!" Ed suddenly let go of the book and grabbed Desmira's shoulder, causing her to flinch and let go of the book.
The boys fell to the floor painfully because of how hard they're pulling the book, causing them to cry.
Their cries caught the attention of the whole class and one of the caretaker came.
"What happened here, why are they crying?" She looks at the duo.
"They cause us to fall!" The red-haired boy points at Ed and Desmira while the other boys nod as all of them cry.
"What did you two do?" The caretaker asked with a slight frown, but her voice are calm and pleasant, trying to not look scary to the kids.
"They tried to snatch the book we're reading, so i let them have it. But then they fell by themselves." Ed answered.
The caretaker was surprised at how well Ed speaks but soon sigh as she got the gist of what had actually happened.
"You shouldn't snatch things from other, alright?" She looks at the boys before turning to the duo, "But, you also shouldn't hurt others too, okay?"
"Alright..." The children in front of her replied, but Ed only nods without speaking.
She looks at Ed helplessly before shaking her head and quickly leave to take care of the other children.
