Chapter 3 - Chapter Three

Just as the monster was about to reach Lisa's hiding place, a siren was heard outside the warehouse. The monster stopped in its tracks, seemingly attracted by the siren.

Lisa took the opportunity to quietly move towards another exit of the warehouse. She carefully avoided the clutter on the ground and dared not make a sound.

When she finally reached the exit, she found that the door was locked with a large padlock.

At this time, the monster had already noticed her movement and turned around to lunge at her.

Lisa frantically searched for a way to unlock the door. The monster was getting closer and closer, and its panting could be heard in her ears.

Just as the monster's claws were about to touch Lisa, she picked up an iron rod on the ground and smashed it hard at the lock.

After several fierce blows, the lock was finally smashed open. Lisa rushed out of the door. Outside was a barren meadow.

She ran desperately until she was exhausted and collapsed on the ground.

Lisa lay on the grass, gasping for breath and looking at the sky, filled with a sense of relief after a narrow escape.

However, before she could recover, she heard the sound of a car engine in the distance. She got up warily and saw a black off-road vehicle driving towards her.

The car stopped in front of her, and the window rolled down. A mysterious man appeared in front of her.

"Get in." The man's voice was low and concise.

Lisa hesitated for a moment and finally got into the car. The car sped away. Lisa didn't know what fate awaited her again.

The car was speeding on the highway. Lisa was sitting in the passenger seat, staring intently at the front, filled with doubts and unease.

"Who are you? Why did you save me?" Lisa couldn't help asking.

The man was silent for a moment and said, "Someone asked me to take you away."

Lisa was even more confused. She tried to find the answer from the man's expression, but the man remained expressionless.

After an unknown amount of time, the car stopped in front of an ancient castle. The man led Lisa into the castle. The inside of the castle was dark, damp, and filled with a mysterious atmosphere.

Lisa followed the man into the hall of the castle. The candlelight was flickering inside, making it look spooky and terrifying.

Suddenly, a black shadow walked out from a corner. Lisa was startled. Looking closely, it was an old man in a black robe.

The old man had deep eyes. He looked Lisa up and down and said slowly, "Child, you carry a significant mission."

Lisa looked blank: "What mission? I don't understand."

The old man sighed softly: "The mystery of all this needs to be uncovered by yourself."

After saying that, the old man turned and left, leaving Lisa at a loss.

Lisa was full of doubts and wanted to chase after him to ask clearly, but was stopped by the man.

"Rest for a while. Things will become clear later." The man said.

Lisa had no choice but to follow the man to a room. The room was simply furnished with only a bed and a table.

Lisa lay on the bed, her thoughts in a mess, unable to figure out this series of strange things.

Just as she was about to fall asleep, she suddenly heard a strange sound outside the window.

Lisa was awakened by the strange sound. She sat up nervously and looked out of the window.

It was pitch black outside, and nothing could be seen, but the sound was getting clearer and clearer, as if something was approaching.

Lisa dared not open the window to check. She held the quilt tightly, her heart beating rapidly.

At this time, the door was suddenly knocked on. Lisa was startled.

"Who?" She asked tremblingly.

"It's me." The man's voice came from outside the door.

Lisa hesitated for a moment and then opened the door.

The man looked serious and said, "The castle may not be safe. We have to leave quickly."

Lisa didn't have time to ask more questions and followed the man downstairs in a hurry.

In the corridor, they heard all kinds of strange sounds, including low growls and sharp hisses.

Lisa's palms were full of sweat, and her steps became a little unsteady.

The two of them finally reached the entrance of the castle, only to find that the gate was closed and bound by a mysterious force and could not be opened.

The man searched for other exits everywhere. Lisa watched the movements around nervously.

Suddenly, a huge shadow covered them. Lisa looked up and saw a huge monster appearing above the castle.

The monster opened its huge mouth and let out a deafening roar.

The monster's roar made Lisa feel dizzy. The man quickly supported her.

"Don't be afraid. We will definitely find a way to get out." The man comforted.

At this time, the monster swooped down from the air. The man pulled Lisa and quickly dodged.

They fled around in the castle, looking for a chance to escape.
