A few months later.
Naomi sat at a table, with anger in her eyes, watching her boyfriend, who was talking to a college friend. It was boiling inside the girl; however, she bravely restrained herself from getting up from her chair and using the creamy ice cream to humiliate the pretty brunette.
She decided to wait and overhear what they were talking about.
- The whole university is buzzing about the fact that you are the son of a rich man. Lucky you.
- Maybe actually lucky me.
If it weren't for his father, Mark wouldn't have been able to study. He extended a helping hand to him and his mother, which made their lives easier. After a long discussion, the two came to an agreement.
The 20-year-old nervously corrected the glasses on her nose and forced a crooked smile.
- You've gotten too frisky, darling. Money is indeed evil. I'll give you a lucky man," she muttered to herself, not caring that a man was watching her, who concluded that the girl apparently had something wrong with her head.
Sitting on a chair, she squatted closer to their table. She ignored the strange looks of people. She wore large glasses on her nose, so it was difficult to recognize her.
- There are also rumors that you have been dating the queen of advertising for a long time. Is it true that your girlfriend is Naomi Smith?
Mark smiled at his friend and nodded.
- She is an exceptional girl. Would you like to meet her? - Naomi gently slid her glasses off her nose and blinked her eyelids as her boyfriend got up from his chair. He walked over to her and grabbed her hand to make her stand up. She was so surprised that she let herself be led without objection. - Naomi, this is my colleague, Selena. - He specially marked the last words. - There is no need for you to follow me on vacation because I am still too shy to get into an affair with another girl.
She threw him a furtive glance and immediately forced a fake smile as she shook hands with his friend.
- I was nearby and saw Mark. I didn't mean to disturb you, so I sat off to the side. I didn't know my boyfriend was so perceptive. He really loves me a lot.
Mark rolled his eyes at these words. He didn't like it when she talked about their feelings in public.
- You shouldn't eat ice cream at this time of year. Autumn is treacherous," he stated, snatching the cone from her hand. - I'll finish it," he added, sending her an innocent smile.
- Stop playing so cool," she whispered in his ear. - In front of other girls you want to show what a good guy you are, and you are afraid to sleep with me. - She teasingly bit his ear, and Mark turned red in the face like a beet. - Not that I'm forcing you to do it, but don't you think it's usually the other way around?
The boy was embarrassed by her words, so he purposely dirtied her nose with ice.
- Let's sit with my friend for a while and then go home to prove my manhood, okay?

Samantha walked out of the clothing store where she worked and adjusted her bag on her shoulder when she spotted Alex waiting for her in the car. They had been together ever since she showed up at his house. Although. Their relationship was quite complicated. She herself no longer knew what was between them.
Even though they were in a relationship and Samantha had helped him a lot, and Alex continually said how much she meant to him and that he loved her, she didn't know what she should think about it. He was monstrously jealous of her, and she could see that he cared a lot, but his habits still hadn't changed. He couldn't control himself and had too good of a rapport with other women, which was a nuisance to her. Furthermore, he assured her that he had many female friends, but she was sick of it.
She was jealous.
She was unable to trust him when she saw how he behaved.
So far, she wasn't sure about him. So far, they were in a relationship and he got a chance from her. She decided to wait a certain period. She wanted to see if he would eventually keep his word and start noticing only her, although she didn't quite believe it. Unfortunately... she was in love with him to death and couldn't leave him. Above all, she was worried about him and was afraid that this could cause his mental state to deteriorate again....
She didn't know what the future held for her. She could not predict whether she would be happy at Alex's side and whether they would always be together again, but for the moment she saw only him. Furthermore, she believed that their destiny was written in the stars, and he would remain the only guy in her life.
At least that was her hope.
Could she really believe that Alex would eventually fight the womanizer's title, and she would be able to fully trust him?
