Chapter 75 - Chapter 75: Tang Hao Seeks Antidote, Yu Xiaogang Arrives!

Tang Hao's actions, though brutal, were calculated. The patrons of the bar, still outside the Slaughter City, were sharp enough to survive this long. Those without cunning or strength had long perished.

The waiter, trembling, brought another glass of Bloody Mary. Tang Hao treated it like ordinary alcohol, downing glass after glass without pause. When the bar finally ran out of Bloody Mary, the waiter cautiously approached him.

"Sir, we're out of Bloody Mary."

Tang Hao's bleary eyes stared at the waiter for a long moment before he waved dismissively. Relieved, the waiter turned to leave, but before he could take a step, a sickening sound echoed through the bar. His head exploded like a melon, scattering blood and brain matter across the room.

Calmly, Tang Hao grabbed a bowl from the table and began catching the dripping blood.

"See? There's plenty left. Who said the bar ran out? Liar."

The other patrons watched in horror, their hearts racing. Many began edging toward the door, only to find themselves paralyzed under Tang Hao's oppressive aura. The weight of his murderous intent locked them in place, their spirits too crushed even to release their martial souls.

As fear gripped the room, Tang Hao's cold, emotionless voice rang out again.

"Wait, I'm not done drinking."

Then, nine soul rings appeared around him: yellow, yellow, purple, purple, black, black, black, black, red. The terrifying combination of colors left the crowd breathless.

Thud… thud… thud.

Bodies dropped lifelessly to the floor, blood pooling around them. Tang Hao remained eerily calm, as if this massacre were a mundane task. The bar's owner, undisturbed by the carnage, silently watched, seemingly accustomed to such scenes.

Once Tang Hao finished drinking, his gray robe was now soaked in crimson, his blood-red eyes gleaming. Rising from his seat, he approached the bar counter.

"I trust my identity needs no further explanation."

The owner nodded, reaching under the bar to activate a hidden mechanism. A passage opened in the floor.

"As you wish, Lord Slaughter."

Without hesitation, Tang Hao leapt into the darkness, his figure swallowed by the abyss.

"The blood here... it's nostalgic. Let's see if this place can cure my strange condition."

Yes, Tang Hao had come to the Slaughter City for a reason. As Yun Feng's cultivation advanced, Tang Hao found his own bloodthirsty urges harder to suppress. This was his last resort to seek a cure. Even if it failed, the Slaughter City was a safe haven from Spirit Hall's pursuit, and it offered an outlet for his uncontrollable urges.

At Shrek Academy, the Headmaster's Office. Flender listened intently as Zhao Wuji recounted the events of their trip to the Star Dou Forest. His expression shifted from shock to relief as he learned that everyone had returned safely.

"It seems we underestimated the dangers of the forest," Flender said with a sigh. "Next time, I'll join the team myself, along with two more teachers. These children are prodigies; we can't afford to lose any of them."

Zhao Wuji nodded in agreement. "You're right. But honestly, even with four teachers, if we had encountered the Titan Giant Ape again, we'd still be doomed."

Flender acknowledged this grim reality. "The Star Dou Forest is the closest soul beast habitat to our academy. We don't have many other options. Still, it's fortunate that the Titan Giant Ape showed no real hostility. Do you have any idea why it spared your group?"

Zhao Wuji shook his head. "I'm not sure. From the moment we encountered the soul beasts, everything felt... off. That mutated Phoenix-Tail Crest Serpent seemed unusually agile, leading us straight into danger. Without it, we might never have crossed paths with the Titan Giant Ape."

As Zhao Wuji spoke, a confident yet slightly awkward voice came from outside the door.

"From what you've described, that Phoenix-Tail Crest Serpent must have been a variant."

Startled, Zhao Wuji turned toward the door. He had heard approaching footsteps earlier but assumed it was another teacher. Now, the voice caught him off guard.

The door opened, and a stiff-faced man with an upright posture entered the room. His expression was somewhat dazed, giving an impression of dullness, yet his aura exuded wisdom and certainty.

"Ah, you've arrived! Come in, Xiao Gang," Flender said, beaming.

Zhao Wuji stared in surprise as Flender introduced the newcomer. "Let me introduce you. This is my old friend and Tang San's teacher—soon to be Yun Feng's mentor as well. Everyone in the Soul Master world knows him as Grandmaster."

Zhao Wuji's eyes widened. "So you're Yu Xiaogang? It's an honor to meet you. I'm Zhao Wuji."

Hearing this, Yu Xiaogang's already stiff face seemed to freeze further. He had expected Zhao Wuji to address him as "Grandmaster," as Flender had suggested. Suppressing his annoyance, he forced a smile. "No need to be so formal, 'Immovable King.' I trust Tang San returned safely with you?"

"He did," Zhao Wuji replied with a chuckle. "We were lucky. Everyone made it back unharmed."

Relieved, Yu Xiaogang let out a long breath. Tang San was his best chance to prove his theories. While Yun Feng had refused to become his disciple, Tang San remained his ideal candidate.

"Good

," Yu Xiaogang said. "I'd like to see him. There's much to discuss."
