Lucian stared at the glowing text with wide eyes. His mind struggled to comprehend what he was seeing.

"This is insane," he muttered. "Attributes multiplied a thousandfold? Eternal youth? Talent and bloodline enhancements? Recruitment bonuses?"

It wasn't just absurd—it was game-changing.

Even the weakest Sovereign could dominate the Endless Void with this trait, and Lucian was far from weak. It was no wonder that every individual with a Gold Heart eventually became a legend.

"And this is just the beginning," Lucian murmured. His trait would evolve as his level increased, making it even more powerful in the future.

"I can't let anyone know about this." His expression grew serious as he carefully placed the Mechanical Kidney back into his inventory. Its ability to transform an ordinary trait into a legendary one made it invaluable. If word got out, even immortals and gods would stop at nothing to claim it.

After steadying his nerves, Lucian grabbed his student ID and left for Shenhar Academy.

Shenhar Academy

Situated in the heart of Silvermoon City's northern district, Shenhar Academy was one of the city's top schools. Its reputation for nurturing future Sovereigns made it a highly coveted institution.

Lucian moved through the bustling campus with ease, ignoring the lively chatter of students milling about. Unlike Earth, the school schedule in this world consisted of only two classes per day—one in the morning and one in the afternoon—allowing for an active campus life.

After navigating the familiar grounds, he arrived at the office of his homeroom teacher, Mr. Jules Kenworth.

Mr. Kenworth, a stern man in a gray suit, barely glanced up from his paperwork as Lucian entered. His sharp features and piercing eyes gave him a naturally intimidating aura.

"You've become a Sovereign?" he asked bluntly.

"Yes," Lucian replied.

Kenworth nodded, rising from his seat. "Follow me."

Without further explanation, he led Lucian to the administration building. Here, newly awakened Sovereigns received a starter kit of basic resources from the government to ease their early struggles.

The pair climbed to the third floor and entered a spacious hall. Over a hundred young Sovereigns were already gathered, their faces alight with excitement and curiosity.

Kenworth gestured to an empty seat. "Wait here for your turn."

"Thank you, sir," Lucian said, taking a seat.

Lucian scanned the room. Like him, these were all first-time Sovereigns fresh from the Praying to the Heavens ceremony. Conversations buzzed around him as students shared their hopes and speculations about their newfound powers and territories.

Suddenly, the lively atmosphere was cut short by a chilling voice.

"Silence."

The single word carried a weight that froze everyone in place.

Lucian's gaze snapped to the center of the room as a phenomenon unfolded. A swirling mist appeared in mid-air, coalescing into the shape of an ornate door.

The door creaked open, and a figure emerged.

The first thing Lucian noticed was a pair of elegant, pale feet stepping onto the mist, their movements as graceful as a dancer's.

A woman followed, her presence commanding the room. Her long black hair flowed down her back, partially tied with crimson ribbons that floated like streams of fire.

Her face was a masterpiece of cold elegance, with sharp features and piercing eyes that held an air of danger. Her red robes hugged her figure, accentuating curves that spoke of both power and allure. A golden sash at her waist and a Kirin medallion at her chest gave her an air of regality.

"You are the third group for today," she said, her voice clear and commanding.

The room was deathly silent as her gaze swept over the students.

Then, her eyes met Lucian's.

For a brief moment, time seemed to stop. Lucian felt his breath hitch, his heart thudding in his chest. Her piercing gaze was like a blade, sharp and unyielding, yet there was something beneath the surface—curiosity? Amusement?

"I am Selene Valcrest, your instructor," she continued. Her voice was steady, carrying an authority that left no room for argument.

Selene raised her hand, and a radiant light enveloped her palm. "This will be your first test. Show me what you are capable of."

As the students nervously prepared, Lucian found himself unable to look away from her.

Selene's presence was magnetic, and he couldn't shake the feeling that their paths were destined to intertwine.
