Rebecca stood at the edge of the hallway, her gaze fixed on Emma's retreating figure. Each step Emma took seemed to carry her further into the shadows of the corridor, until finally, she disappeared around the corner. The faint echo of her footsteps gradually faded, leaving behind the hushed hum of the castle walls. Rebecca tilted her head slightly, her lips curving into a small, amused smirk. "Big Sis is so strange," she muttered under her breath, the words laced with both curiosity and fondness.

Susan stepped up beside her, crossing her arms over her chest as she stared at the same empty spot. Her expression shifted between mild amusement and thinly veiled exasperation. "You should forget about her for now, Princess," Susan said, her voice calm but carrying a note of firm practicality. "Let's go check on your brother."
