CHAPTER 4

 Shattering.

The night sky is immersed with bright light and colours. The moon, which was once a serene and gentle presence, now pulsed with an eerie energy as the moon's surface was bathed in dark red. The air, buzzing with an electric intensity, and the ground trembled with an ominous power.

Kadia stood at the edge of the forest, her eyes fixed on the moon in horror as she felt an unsettling and strange connection to the moon and she understood because all creatures were bound to the moon, but it was as if the shattering was somehow linked to her own destiny.

As she watched, the moon's surface began to crack and scatter, sending shards of rocks hurtling towards the earth. The sound of the destruction shook the ground and rattled the trees with the force which the moon fragments were falling. The air was filled with the strong smell of ozone and burning rock.

The moon's shards fell like a deadly rain, casting an ethereal light over the landscape. They struck the ground with a deafening crash, sending shockwaves through the earth. The sound was a never ending drumbeat, shaking the ground.

Kadia felt the earth tremble beneath her feet as the shards struck the earth. She stumbled, her balance thrown off by the sheer force of the impact. Akane rushed to her side, grabbing her arm to steady her.

" Kadia, we have to get out of here," Akane shouted above the clatter of the falling shards.

Kadia nodded, still unable to move by the sight of the shattered moon. She felt a strange, building power within her, as if the moon's destruction was awakening a deep, ancient magic. She could feel the power coursing through her veins, calling to her, urging her to act.

But what could she do? The moon's destruction was a catastrophic event, one that threatened to destroy their world. Kadia felt powerless, unable to stop the destruction or make its effects less harmful.

As she stood there frozen in horror, a massive shard of moon struck the ground mere yards away, sending a shockwave through the earth. The impact threw Akane and kadia off balance, sending them tumbling to the ground.

Kadia's head spun as she struggled to sit up. The world around her was a blur of chaos and destruction. The shards of the moon continued to fall, casting a deadly glowing rain across the land.

The sound of the moon's destruction was loud, kadia felt like she was living in a nightmare, one from which she couldn't awaken.

Meanwhile, Ryker stood atop a windswept hill, his eyes fixed on the moon in shock. He had been warned about this event by a rogue when his pack was attacked, but he had dismissed the warning as mere fantasy.

Now, as he watched the moon shatter, Ryker felt a crushing sense of guilt and responsibility. He had underestimated the rogue's warning, and now the consequences were catastrophic.

"What have I done?" Ryker whispered to himself, his voice carried away by the wind. "I should have listened. I should have acted."

As the moon's shards continued to fall, Ryker knew he had to act. He had to find a way to reduce the damage, to prevent the destruction of the world.

But as he stood there, frozen in indecision, Ryker couldn't shake the feeling that he was already too late. The moon's destruction was a harbinger of darker events to come, and Ryker feared that he was powerless to stop them.

Eren watched the moon's destruction with a calculating gaze. His eyes gleamed with ambition as he contemplated the possibilities of the moon's power.

"The time of reckoning is upon us," Eren whispered to himself, his voice dripping with malevolence. "With the moon's power, I will reshape this world in my image."

As the shard's of the moon continued to fall, Eren smiled to himself. He knew that the destruction of the moon was only the beginning, and that the true power of the lunar body was yet to be unleashed.

And in the midst of this chaos, Kaida and Ryker stood, not knowing of the roles they would play in the events that were unfolding. The moon's destruction was a catalyst, setting in motion a chain of events that would change their world forever.

But for now, they could only stand and watch, frozen in horror, as the moon shattered into a thousand glowing pieces, casting a deadly, glowing rain across the land.

The world was ending, and a new era was beginning.
