As Max entered through the red door, he found himself standing in a dungeon-like cave.
Above his head floated a giant spherical ball containing five monsters trapped within it.
'Do I have to kill them?' Max wondered as he waited for something to happen.
Suddenly, one of the monsters trapped within the giant sphere fell to the ground before Max.
"Huh? This monster looks a bit different," Max muttered, noticing that the creature was glowing with a light blue aura, and its entire body seemed to be made up of that glow.
It was a squid-type monster with ten tentacles, aside from its hands and legs, and the strength of a Level 1 Adept Rank.
The squid monster, upon landing on the ground, set its gaze on Max and began rampaging toward him.
Max took out his sword and muttered to himself, "Let's test the power of 10% of Fusion State." He wanted to get comfortable using Fusion State if he wanted to use it effectively in battle.
