After entering through the door, Max found himself in a medium-sized, square-shaped room. It was almost empty, except for a huge screen on the wall.
[Do you wish to enter the fight?]
A notification appeared before his eyes at that moment. It came from the Battle Realm.
"Yes," Max replied, and he vanished from the room a moment later.
He materialized in a grassy plain with sparse trees around him.
'This place is somewhat similar to the battlefield in the Battle Cube from the general's chambers,' Max mused as his eyes scanned the area.
He also noticed his opponent standing not far from him. It was a young man, about his age, with spiky black hair and a white t-shirt.
"Father told me I would be fighting a newbie, and it seems he was right," the young man sneered as he saw Max looking around like a country bumpkin.
