In the great continent of Tulaq, filled with various mysteries and governed by laws unknown to creatures of this land.
The creatures which roamed on these lands scaled from the tiniest land crawling insects to the humongous freaks of nature can cover the beautiful star-filled land.
But now in a place miles away from these freaks in a forest filled with nature's beauty existed a tribe just as beautiful as it existed a small tribe known as the Ingrid tribe.
And in one of the houses of this tribe was a white haired boy who was diligently working on making something.
Just then a small girl entered the room. She sneakily took a peek at the boy's work and started laughing.
"Oho, what's this? Our little Luca is working on making a wooden doll of big sis Elenor. If I didn't know any better, I would have thought you were going to propose to her!"
"Ah! Abby, when did you enter the room?" Luca, who got spooked the daylights out of him looked at the annoying little girl behind him.
Honestly, her annoying face looked quite punchable right now.
"Look at our little boy dodging the question. I guess you are all grown up now. Little boy, there is nothing left for me to teach you now." said Abby with a smirk on her face as if quite proud of her achievement.
"Where did you even learn to talk like that? And just so you know, I'm 3 years older than you. How is it that YOU are my teacher?"
"Fufufu! Little kids like you don't understand how grown-ups think"
Abby smirked, looked at the doll one last time and stormed out of the room.
Seeing that girl storm out of the room, Luca was left speechless.
'Seeing this girl reminds me of some annoying people of that world' Luca thought in his mind as he sighed.
That's right. Your guy used to live in a world called earth back in those days but some day god knows how found himself in this world inside a baby's body.
Right now, I am ten years old. So far, life is treating me well. Good food, good bed, annoying but fantastic friends, a happy childhood and a good father who treats me very well.
Just as you saw before, that little brat is named Abby. My friend and one of the humans from outside the who sometimes comes to visit us every now and then.
Also, didn't I tell you? I am not a human. I was quite terrified to find myself surrounded by many extremely beautiful horned people but even more terrified to find a small horn on my forehead when I was born. I literally peed myself and started crying that moment.
Well, let's not talk about my dark past for now...
I'm quite happy right now. In fact, I don't even remember that world much anymore. I just hope this continuous forever.
"Son! Dinner is ready" Luca heard a voice from the living room.
"Coming!" He rushed out to see his father and Abby already sitting at the table.
Oh yeah, I think I have just one regret.
Absence of a mother. I guess I was cursed to never meet my mother. Well, at least it's better than being an orphan.
My father is named Bruce and is quite a good man. Being the village chief he's diligent, hardworking, honest and the list goes on.
But the only thing that pisses me off is that he never tells me about my mother. Not only him, but the entire village refuses to talk about my mother. There seems to be some big secret but for god's sake, I'm her son. Can't a child enquire about his mother?
There seems to be a reason but still it pisses me off.
"Come have dinner. Look even Abby is joining us" Bruce said while looking Abby. Even with the race difference, he treated Abby like his own daughter.
Seeing Luca coming over, Abby started snickering
"Did you complete making your gift, loveboy?" she asked while looking at the half-completed doll.
Luca quickly hid the doll at sat in his place.
Someday, I promise I am going to punch her.
"What are you talking about? This is a gift for big sis. Don't tell me you forgot her birthday?"
"Of course not. Unlike you, I prepared my gift a week ago"
"Now then, are you going to propose tomorrow?"
"Even I am curious son. Are you going to propose tomorrow?"
Both Bruce and Abby smirked looking at Luca with a 'know-it-all' look.
Seeing their faces, even Luca started to blush now.
"Even you too, dad?! Stop making fun of me already"
Seriously, what's wrong with these guys?! Spreading baseless rumors. Well, not like its a complete lie....
Elenor is the certified, most beautiful woman in this strange village filled with beautiful people. She will become 16 tomorrow, a perfect time to get married. Though back in my world, these guys will definitely be locked up in prison, period.
And I may or may not have a teeeeny-tiny bit of a crush on her....
But if I had to be honest, every single one of this village has a crush on her. Even my dad has a crush on her. She's just that much of a saint. There doesn't exist a single person who has not received her help. Everyone are quite attracted to her.
But these idiots....
"Uncle, should we set up a stage for little Luca's first confession?"
"That's a good idea. While we're at it, let's gather everyone to cheer him on"
"Shut up, you idiots!! Can't you eat a single meal peacefully not making fun of me?!"
These idiots will be the death of me, but these people are the ones giving meaning to my life. If these exists a god, my only prayer is to live with these happily for eons to come.
"By the way, are the kingdom's envoy's coming tomorrow?" Luca asked as the villagers have been talking about this for a while now.
Bruce who was joking just a second ago had a serious expression on his face.
"Yes. Tomorrow will be the day our tribe will officially become a part of the kingdom"
Bruce said with a smile on his face.
Luca was also happy because if they become a part of the kingdom, the tribe will have access to all the resources of the kingdom and children will be able to attend school with other kids.
'I guess everything will be fine tomorrow' thought Luca.
But he couldn't be more wrong as this was the start of the tragedy which destroys the Ingrid tribe and the twisted game of faith which leads to the birth of the leader of the strongest and most mysterious organization on the Tulaq continent and the land beyond.....
